Vardy is a great example of the fact that anything is possible however there are many others for a reason. The truth is if Vardy was at a club which needed him to hold the ball up then he wouldnt have got a game. Leicester at that time were perfect for him. Now that they are trying to change the way they play he isnt a guarenteed starter anymore. The other point is that Vardy had only played at a lower level but had scored at almost a goal a game in those leagues.

Adams isnt someone who has just burst onto the scene. He has been around the block enough to have done this before but it just happens to be that this season has worked out for him. I dont know if you saw his 2 goals yesterday but he just simply wouldnt score those in the premier league. The defending for the first was shocking and the keeping for the second was u14 level.

    ok

There is a massive gap between the Championship and Premier League.

How many goals would DCL / Tosun score in the Championship?

I know there is a difference between the prem and the champs  more so between the prem and none league wonder we=here Vaedy came to Leicester from/.  I have no idea how many goals would be scored

If individual MP's aren't allowed to express their own opinion and act on their own conscience then why do we have them? It'd be a lot cheaper if everyone voted for a colour and six or seven party leaders met in a room and the one with the biggest number got their way all the time. I realise that's not a serious scenario but just thought I'd bring it up.

Our electoral system is dreadful, as are many, but it's never going to change because the two big parties won't let it happen; turkeys voting for Christmas springs to mind. Mrs May is running the country after getting 36.9% of the vote, is that democratic?

I am seriously surprised mike and matt

democratically elected mps follow the dictates of the people who voted for them yes they may have different view points but if they were voted in then the people were not informed otherwise or the person who was elected would not have been.  I have no objection to the mps having private concerns but making the public is wrong in my opinion.

My point exactly - there would by no by elections for the reasons Mike stated.

I’ve learnt more than I ever knew being abroad. One good thing to come from Brexit...

3 years is the next general election. Until one of them dies, retires or steps down, that’s the next chance.

totally agree Matt  all we need do now is to per suade them to retire or kill them

It depends whether you're voting for a person or a party. Too many (imo) vote purely on party lines and expect to have 300+ supposedly intelligent and public spirited people sitting there and doing exactly what they're told to do by the party elite because they all agree on everything so "let's all sit and have a jolly nice time acting like primary school kids".

I can certainly see the case for these guys putting themselves forward in by-elections but I still find it pleasing to see some people jumping off the "clone crony conveyor" collect wages and expenses bandwagon.

    as do I Miike

Resign and try again at the next election in 3 years time? In that time there’s no representation or there’s a local election where it’s new candidates for a party that’s falling apart or a party that’s trying its best to implode the country. How does that help?

not in 3 years time I know living abroad can make you forget this sort of stuff as I did myself a while ago but every time a member retires, dies or otherwise leaves the post they were voted in for there has to be a byelection  to allow folks to be represented  they (the rebels) can therefore stand as representative candidates of an independent group.  if they win that will give them the mandate to carry on, if they lose then they van fuck off out of politics for a year or three.

How are they refusing to represent? If anything they’re leaving because they feel the party doesn’t represent what their beliefs are and what their constitutants voted for.

if that were the case they would resign their status and try again in an election asap  ////  not hang on to  it like a dog wrapped round a drunk's leg.  they (none of them) have the courage of their convictions,  you watch them bleat about it if they lose their nice cushy role in parliament  …. well I say fuck them and let them earn their pay like honest folks for once n their misbegotten lives.

Useless, the entire house is rotten to the core.  Guy Fawks had the right idea.

I’ll try and find the list of all the companies already leaving, and those planning to leave in case of no deal (like Airbus and the others mentioned).

The point is more the lie that Leave sold - they won’t leave. They are, are planning to leave or scaling back investment/plans that would’ve created thousands of jobs.

no need matt I know your opinion well enough  I was not having a go at you mate I was pointing out a few inaccuracies for anyone who is wondering wtf is going on

very selective Matt.  1.  Airbus are not pulling out as of now due to the fact that brexit is happening they will leave when the A380 is finished,  they have a lot to build yet.

    2.  Ford will leave when they stop making cars  yes they are attempting to sort out the modern truck (instead of course._)

    3. honda are making electruc cars and European honda will also close down apparently

4  I have no information on Nissan or mini

The majority of the world shouldn't be condemned to a nationalistic way of life because of the actions of such a small amount of idiots that they wouldn't register as a percentage point of the world's population, if you start letting people like that control how you live your life they've won the war and you have lost your freedom.

fair enough Palfy but do we let her in or not?  I think she should not be allowed in but then I am just myself.

I did listen to it all the way through for me I am British but I’m not a nationalist, i believe in freedom of movement and that where you were born or what’s written in your passport shouldn’t restrict your movement around the world,

As the original manager thread seems to have vanished without trace (there's no record of anything being done to it in the control panel logs so it's a weird one) I'll start another one. If and when we (Louis) can track it down we'll merge the two. Very strange this, can't recall it ever happening before:dontknow:.

Apologies to all who posted in it.

not good enough mate  we still have marco but lost his thread?  get yourself sorted out for heavens sake...…
