  1. I remember the games we used to have like throwing a penguin and pipes and stuff like that,  I was wondering if it would be feasible to have one game per summer break  to keep a friendly interest in the site when there is no football to talk about,  just one game we can change every season and we can play as often as we like  and we can have a summer champion.  and Mike can not compete to make it fair  lol lol (joke)

Couple returned from holiday in Spain.  Wife was disappointed because all the food was English and everyone spoke English.  She said, 'next time we go on holiday I want to go somewhere where the food is crap and you can't understand what people say'.  Husband has booked a game in Anfield

fixed it for you John  lol

i have a friend that loves to read but prefers audiobooks.  if it's a well known book they get famous voice actors to do the parts and they do all the parts in different voices so it sounds like different people.  supposed to be very well put together.  i haven't heard one myself, i still enjoy the tactile old paperback :)

    thanks for that info mjb

Cats don't take a lot of looking after and you don't have to take them for 'walkies'.  Big commitment taking on a dog and the bigger the dog, the bigger the commitment.  Oh, and cats wash themselves.

John the point is the dog needs us as much as we need the dog  and licking oneself does not mean washing in my vocabulary

Mangey moggies or  daring doggies?...  I go for the canine rather than the feline  every time,  not that the moggies are hateful  just not as good as the doggies

On the verge of losing another friend to cancer, admitted to a hospice with the tumour slowly closing off the wind pipe; steroids temporarily putting off the inevitable horrific traumatic end.

Nobody would put a dog through that agony, they'd be gently put to sleep. I see no argument whatsoever (religious zealotry aside) against euthanasia; why extend someone's life for a few days/weeks so they can suffer for a while and then die in agony? Completely insane.

I know how you feel Mike    :cryingsmiley: you take care buddy and try to ensure your friend has a happy ending as best you can-

Replacement will be worse though, likely BoJo, who is really as embarrassing as Trump is. Difference is only that Johnson is undoubtedly a man of intellect even though he comes across as a buffoon, whereas Trump is a thick twat whose buffoonery just confirms the fact.

    https://www.newyorker.com/news/our-columnists/donald-trumps-business-failures-were-very-real

"...between 1985 and 1989, a period when the economy was forging ahead and Trump was busy portraying himself as a billionaire with the Midas touch, his core businesses—apartment buildings, hotels, and casinos—somehow managed to lose $359.1 million. That was only the beginning. As the economy weakened, in 1990 and 1991, Trump’s core businesses racked up losses of $517.5 million. And, between 1992 and 1994, as the economy recovered, they lost another $286.9 million."

I am pleased  that Trump is involving himself now  as it means that boris is going to face a lot lore ridicule so is less likely to win.

    Man City, Liverpool, Man U.

City as they won't be as free flowing first game of the season. Liverpool as they largely rely on fitness so wouldn't be at full speed, and Man Utd as they're plop and will still be trying to find a system.

    perfect idea
