At last someone else who is positive about the season there are also other positive signs season ticket sales up helped by much better marketing and payment plans, getting much better commercial deals for the club generating more cash all in all i think the club has become stronger on the pitch and of it. agree with all you have said. im looking forward to a great season with optimism
your post really cheered me up NOT!! you have just put me on suicide watch after reading it and there was me feeling positive about the new season :suicide_anim: :suicide_anim: :suicide_anim:
Mbia is said to have handed in a transfer request to speed up his move to Everton, i am feeling a lot more positive about this transfer window, lets hope some of these come off
it is, but the issue was that people were saying our first game was in europa i am trying to tell people it is not, thats all, our first game is 15th August premiership
i take your point but if a player was MOM for 4 games and shite for the rest, how can he be player of the season makes you realise it is difficult to have a perfect system of voting i would stick with what we have now it seems the fairest way to me unless someone has a better one
when be kissed his man u badge in front of us at goodison, i vowed then i would never forgive him, no true blue would ever do that.so no i never want to see him play for us again
reports suggest Beckham wants to return to the Premiership next season wonder if anyone would fancy us taking him i know he is getting on, but he is still quality and it would raise our profile, i cannot decide if i would want him
does not suprise i have had a feeling for months that he would go dont know why, wonder if being in the England squad has something to do with it listening to how much some of them are being paid?
coleman valente irving kissock wallace baxter apart from Valente i know the rest are young but they are all on full time pro contracts and are in the first team squad remember Rodwell was in the same position as some of these and would he of got the chance if we had a bigger squad
we are always going on about the size of our squad not being big enough.we have a core squad of about 28 players including some of the younger players but what size squad do you all think is big enough? without injuries i would have difficulty naming our starting eleven even now .say we signed 4 really good players would some of our more established players be happy with a rotation system and would this harm our younger players coming through .would we have given a chance to Rodwell Gosling etc if we had a bigger squad and also would it affect the team spirit that we have at the club? would be interested in your views on this
