  1. He would be a fan favourite even if he does play only a third of the games and yes i would prefer Cana over M'bia but at this point i'd take either lol
  2. On Contrast, Standard Lieges new kit is awesome! http://www.footballshirtculture.com/09/10-...adora-kits.html
  3. Its felt for the kiddies, to put little felt farm animal shapes onto their parents shirts... "aww look at the little piggy-wiggy" on another note, when do we hear/find out about the away shirt? isnt that out mid July and no1 seems to have a clue what its like? still hoping that its like the mock-up Black and pink baby...woot woot
  4. Lex, you mean from Leeds to Mancs? Don't let Craccer see that
  5. For me, he was my childhood hero. He got me into Motown and pop when i was 2, the only thing i used to dance to was Jacko. He was the reason i enjoyed music, sang about nothing bad....(bar 'bad')...and was an institution in his own right. The world wouldnt have people like Justin Timberlake etc he was their inspiration. I dont think i disliked one song, name me a bad MJ record? --- btw thats retorical. Today's suing society and money grabbin, dog eat dog attitude that rifes the world killed off an amazing talent, and IMO he was a bit weird but not in a sexual way. I genuinely beleive that because he had no childhood, was beaten as a kid and only when he had the time and money to do so, was he able to get as close to experiencing childhood for the 1st time. His mental age was below his physical, and yet in mental health cases people get let off for murder because they have 'issues'. Yet a guy who, as previously stated, only wanted to live a fun/free life was caught up in sick politics and 'labelling'. I for one, am truely gutted and people talk about Elvis as king. A load of shite, totally overatted (IMO) and if there really is one king of music....its Michael Jackson.
  6. completely agree, my City mate doesnt think they want/need him so there must be somin fishy?
  7. Same Question, answer though, written by a Villa Fan for Villa: http://www.newsnow.co.uk/A/354191813?-11192 Its an interesting read, of Villa's expectations of next season.

We've got a few living near us, i can bring them?
  9. I think there has been, more enquiry's. Hughes will test waters, "12, 13.5, 15?" and moyes will go "plus Johnson, plus johnson and Richards, plus Johnson, Richards, Jo and 15, then we may have a deal"
  10. I'd take Hutton, international, expierienced at top level. Still young really, and has a good cross on him wouldnt pay more than 6m for him tho, similar to Baines' price would do me.
  11. If Glen Johnson can go for 17.5m....Lescott is deffinately worth as much if not more. And before people do their 'blah blah money owed to the shite via crouch deal blah blah' i don't care lol For me, on paper it says 17.5m. end of. Oh and Lescott would look wank in a light blue shirt, v.similar to a babygrow me thinks
  12. No, coz we're not full of frogs!!! come to think of it, we have none! ha
  13. We've definately moved forward in terms of stability: buying young exciting kids, consistant top ___ finishes, europe regulars (now), financialy sound...so i think we have. We were soon to be relegated if you think about it, i remember when i was a bit younger, gettin excited about finishing 15th...now i wanna win stuff!? Thats moving forward in my opinion. We are solid. You can't really move backward Tax when you buy players who are ment to good (in the cases of spurs, newcastle, portsmouth) They all bought, at the time, very good players, if it hasnt worked out its not going backwards, its just everyone else has the stability, the slow generative growth that teams respect Everton for. We dont go out and buy 8/9 players like your sunderlands, tottenhams...its a slow process...look at United, they buy 2/3 quality, team players who work well together, most of their better players came from their academy. We've got our super-trooper Rodwell to blossom, Baxter, Duffy, Gosling (many people disagree) and loads more...our futures bright (abeit the bankrolled arabs), we have the foundations alot of teams crave for. I like where we are, i love the support, the forward moving ideas, the team...i really hope it gets better but all in good time me thinks
  14. The Cambell debates annoying me now What about Alexander Hleb? http://www.newsnow.co.uk/A/354168412?-11192 Doesnt get played, quality player. Quick, good feet, hard working...views?
  15. Funny thing about that. Look at what he's sponsored (as virgin) and look at their success during: Crystal Palace F.C - one of their most succesfull spells through the 90's, when sponsored by Virgin. Brawn GP - Main sponsor, and are running away with the championship as it stands (until red-bull pick up) Boxing - Virgin have been sponsors for english representatives...they buy the rights for each match and spookily, have not sponsored a losing fight good call lol

All are actually pretty hard games...and to play the all-stars, 3 days after River...will be very tough. I read when the fixture was announced, no English team have ever beaten the MLS All-star team, even United.
  17. Based on Oobermans results, you're not a season ticket holder HolyStove haha
  18. After yday's plaudits and performance...so am i. I would argue that Rodders is our most valuable assett at present...he could be worth more that Rio did, based on his now versitility!
  19. *and go out early?? :thumbsup_still: Legend: * - Sarcasm
  20. Thats what Liege will be thinkin. Defour was rated better than Felli by Liege, so surely they want more? <_<
  21. From one of the guys on the Teamtalk forum...lol blueblood1988 (Everton fan) Posted 21/06/2009 @ 20:47 View all blueblood1988's posts Owen is a done deal, FACT. My dads ex work colleague lives in north wales and is very close with michael owen's family he is housekeeper/dogwalker for them when they are away on vacation and horse race meetings, Owen has accepted £40,000 a week with an additional bonus of £20,000 a week for every goal he scores. Will be announced wednesday to thursday this week. 110% fact if this deal dosent go through i will never post on here again but i can safely say that won't be happening. NSNO
  22. But doesnt this jsut seem a tad desperate? and Owen would only work well with us, if he had a partner, n i dont think the yak wud be that?
  23. oooh and Kelly Brook is the perfect woman...period!
