  1. Hopefully he'll be back soon. Still has to keep his promise of scoring more than his shirt number xD (22 for those of you playing at home)
  2. Me thinks RB is the biggest issue for Everton. Hibbo has put in the hard yards for the club, but we all know he isn't world class. Gonnna need a replacement for Neville as well, getting on in years. Fingers crossed Veloso will come (and bring Mountinho with him)
  3. Spot on Philinlondon. All your points are absolutely right. Having friends supporting mostly the "big four" (and a few that recently jumped ship to man city for 'unknown' reasons), they all agree Everton is pretty much the only club not to have sold it's soul for cash. Going out on a limb here. I would rather see Everton keep its values (hardwork, smart signings, youth development) and fall down the ladder, than become another city. (please dont hurt me xD)
  4. Here I thought all media was a bunch of crap. Cheers MikeO
  5. King Cahill for sure. Here's hoping Saha and Yak give him a run for his money though.
  6. Loved carney's strike better though. Absolute rocket.
  7. Hardwork will overcome moneybags~! 6th place is more than respectable for a team that goes around smashing kiddies piggy banks during the transfer window
  8. Fair enough to the kiwi's, they're upset. Don't see why they can't take it with a grain of salt though. That said who wants to help me mail a sheep to them to appease them xD
  9. Here's hoping he'll be the next Owen xD
  10. Brother's a magpie fan, reckons Taylor is the type to stay and help get them back into the premiership. News is though that Taylor is getting pissy at the ownership situation. Time to strike me thinks?
  11. May as well use this thread to guess where he'll end up xD
  12. Not too sure about selling Saha. 8 mil for a player his age... but I still rmmbr Saha's goal in the FA cup. Chances are half that would go back to Man U anyway.
  13. Agreed. Let him out on loan minus any buy claues IMO.
  14. Hang on, wasn't it reported Senderos was going for 3mil??? Either the media is telling porkie pies again or Bill is trying to build a playhouse with club funds :S
  15. Reckon if moyes goes, barring a sudden influx of cash (a la city), relegation looms >_< How many other clubs with our budget get regular top 6 finishes :S
  16. Taking the neutral view here. Lescott has the right to choose if he wants to leave. That said he should have done right by the club and said so last wayyyyyyyyyyyy earlier.
  17. The media can say what they want. Cahill is one of the most loyal players in the league and won't just up and go. Still rmmbr a few years back when Everton vs Milwall in the FA cup. Cahill scored a goal but chose not to celebrate against the team which raised him. Respect.
  18. Cost spurs 15 mil up front, 2 mil depending on performances. If he could move to Everton for 10 mil, id be a very happy chappy
  19. for now id have to say no. hasnt proven he is premeirship gold. that said he was fantastic in euro....
  20. You really are a bastard............ It's an interesting thought though. 15 mil + alonso worth it?
  21. Slash down his wages and I reckon he could be a real gem. When it comes down to it, Owen is still a great finisher and his pedigree can't be denied. Jo, who couldn't get a start at Man City, started banging in the goals as soon as he hit Everton. Lets hope if we get Owen, Moyes can weave his magic on him too
  22. I reckon he'd be a definate boon to the squad. Could be our version of fabregas (at least he is in football manager ) If Jo proves to be a hit i doubt there'd be enough $$$ to go around during the summer.
  23. sux for arteta... spain got a crapload of worldclass midfielders though... here's hoping they all get injured next time
  24. You guys think its expensive when kits cost like 40 quid? In Australia, if your lucky enough to find a current Everton kit, it goes for like $240.00 AUD, round 80 for u poms
