Having friends supporting mostly the "big four" (and a few that recently jumped ship to man city for 'unknown' reasons), they all agree Everton is pretty much the only club not to have sold it's soul for cash. Going out on a limb here. I would rather see Everton keep its values (hardwork, smart signings, youth development) and fall down the ladder, than become another city. (please dont hurt me xD)

The media can say what they want. Cahill is one of the most loyal players in the league and won't just up and go. Still rmmbr a few years back when Everton vs Milwall in the FA cup. Cahill scored a goal but chose not to celebrate against the team which raised him. Respect.

Slash down his wages and I reckon he could be a real gem. When it comes down to it, Owen is still a great finisher and his pedigree can't be denied. Jo, who couldn't get a start at Man City, started banging in the goals as soon as he hit Everton. Lets hope if we get Owen, Moyes can weave his magic on him too

I reckon he'd be a definate boon to the squad. Could be our version of fabregas (at least he is in football manager ) If Jo proves to be a hit i doubt there'd be enough $$$ to go around during the summer.
