  1. Get some gimmicky drawcards for the games. Semi pro style I'd pay money to watch Kenright wrestle a bear
  2. Wouldn't like to see Gueye leave, thought he's done well in the few games he's had. Looks like he'll be playing 3rd fiddle to Oviedo's second on the LHS though. Could be a decent bit of business though. From memory we got him for around 1 mil. I'm guessing he should be worth at a least a few mil now?
  3. Wow, never considered a manager getting paid more than his player. Well deserved by Moyes in any case.
  4. Good squad player to have around, especially in the absence of Gibson. Reminds me a bit of Gravesen (the workhorse side of him, not the nutter side).
  5. Couldn't have said it better myself. The team can't even buy a clean sheet (let alone anything else) atm, and Heitinga seems to be part of the issue. Undoubtedly he has immense quality on his day, but its been a long time since I've thought he wasn't a liability at CB compared to Jagielka or Distin.
  6. Neville is getting on a bit, doesn't really have the pace for the prem anymore. Reckon he'd be keen to stick around in a management/coaching capacity (a la solskjaer)?
  7. Baines was a no brainer for me this week. Helped drive nearly every attack (don't remember anything positive really coming from the right hand side of the pitch at all). Honourable mention to Anichebe, well taken goal and good effort after he came on.
  8. With the way Newcastle are defending, we're in with a shout for sure. Baines and Pienaar being injured does kinda ruin the optimism though...
  9. Jelavic has been disappointing for the last few matches for me now and most of the season so far tbh. Not sure if its because of shoddy service from the midfield or defenders just have gotten used to him.
  10. Rich owners aside, is it really such a big advantage with financial fair play rules coming into effect?
  11. Pienaar for me. Tbh felt no one really played after the disallowed goal until the 2nd half. After that seems like every good drive forward was spearheaded by peanuts.
  12. -_- Different season, same story. Why does it seem like everytime we have striker thats about to go on great run of form they injure/break something
  13. Nail on the head right there. Arteta has been overrated in the last couple of seasons. A few awesome goals since he got injured, but hasn't looked anywhere near his best in a looonnnngg time.
  14. Made my day when I read this. He is a leader on the pitch though
  15. as an asian, i would be annoyed if it wasnt so funny. post on Bill, post on
  16. Anyone know any details of Drenthe's contract? From what I've read in the news, his contract finishes at the end of this season? Does Everton have any first-buy options in place??? I think he could possibly be a keeper
  17. Agree that Moyes wouldn't just walk. Don't know about the mindset issue though. I reckon that we can all see the flowing, attacking mindset Moyes is trying to instill in the squad. It's just the bloody cutting edge in and around the box we lack consistently.
  18. No real reason for the Arteta bashing. He took a paycut for a chance at titles and trophies. 6+ years of great service to the club. Good luck to you sir.
  19. Distin for me. Saved our ass more than a few times and even found time and space to surge forward. Honorable mention to fellaini, and a dishonorable one to Arteta. Honestly, he's lost his touch. I can't rmmbr the last time he put in a decent cross for a setpiece.
  20. Ah how fast the unfaithful return to the flock....
  21. Needs to improve his dribbling and passing more. Give him a year or so in the first team and he'll come mint
  22. cant wait for him to be fit and doing turns around bellamy again
  23. Perhaps im being abit harsh. Just didnt think he was up to his usual lofty standards (((
