  1. PREMIERSHIP = arsenal FA CUP = manchester united LEAGUE CUP = arsenal EUROPEAN CUP = arsenal (for the 2nd time in a row) UEFA CUP = blackburn CHAMPIONSHIP = leeds
  2. well maybe you'll be able to say that we were recently beaten 7-0 by the eventual winners........ arsenal poor tonight, but really weren't employing the tactics that suit their style.......ars vs barca should be great, and hopefully henry will shine and win it for them
  3. well no yellow/red card for ferguson so an improvement then!
  4. less than 24hrs to go and I'm the first to post this topic --- think it's indicative of the fact that we're just about at the end of a long, hard season & no longer have anything to play for....... as so many of us have been saying, it's a perfect time to give the youngsters a go & leave the likes of ferguson out of the squad, but whether that will happen is doubtful....... we all know birmingham have a lot to play for, so they certainly won't be short of effort & determination....... 1-1 (beattie & sutton)
  5. players: 1. rio ferdinand 2. luis garcia 3. gary neville managers: 1. david o'leary (f*ck I hate that guy!) 2. neil warnock (a season early, but the word w*nker was made for him) 3. steve bruce
  6. any chance there was of me backing the underdogs here went out the window in the opening half...............those play-acting, diving f*ckers just don't know when to stop.........yes, they probably should have had a penalty, but jeez all that feigning injury just pisses me off ---- they should f*ck of to the WWE if that's their game!!!
  7. apparently he was at the game on friday..........would have to start thinking talks will be happening with cameron jerome soon
  8. I would imagine that in sven's book he is now higher in the pecking order than someone like beattie???
  9. mcfadden is the FIRST I'd be getting rid of (after stubbs and weir).......he is utter cr*p........the rest on the list should also go --- rather promote the whole youth academy!
  10. don't think we can go blaming the ref here!!! reckon it's a 50/50 whether a straight red or not, BUT it was poorly timed and wreckless....... think essien's challenge on osman should have been punished........ how a original, 20 minutes to go, moyes brings on ferguson --- wow that should change things.............FFS oh and now a 3rd........
  11. assuming owen is fit, surely the following are likely: owen rooney crouch d bent my darkhorse for the 5th spot.............robbie fowler --- what you all reckon?
  12. reg, give it a break, not funny, not clever.......but boring and offensive
  13. carsley sent off.........not only are we cr*p but our discipline is appalling
  14. well said re: ferrari..............but can hardly say they scored against the run of play? we look totally ineffectual --- with portsmouth 1 up at half-time it means we will end this game having scored fewer goals than everyone but the bottom 3.........
  15. ok, so stubbs continues to be a liability --- he's gotta give away the odd penalty cos he's just not up to it anymore..........oh, and WHY the f*ck does moyes continue to give ferguson ANY game time????
  16. can't this guy be banned??????
  17. erm.........or maybe..............JUST MAYBE.............it was to watch spurs who they play on monday!!!!! ffs.............
  18. ......because I'd take kolo toure over teflon any day!!!!! what a save that was!!!! wright wouldn't have gotten close........
  19. proves again what a k*nt rooney is.....doesn't want to pay his debts --- stupid little prick, that's a few weeks wages for him!!! glad I don't need to support him at the world cup........or rio twat ferdinand.........or gary dickhead neville......
  20. the good: 1) ferguson --- unmatchable track record 2) wenger --- great style of play, good at bringing through relative unknowns 3) mourhino --- think the fact he's managed to create a (double) championship winning side with the money he was given is great --- how many people said "you can't buy trophies"? he KNEW what to do with the money... money alone = real madrid money + a great manager = chelsea .....the shit: 1) souness -- hope that's the back of him for good (unless liverpool want him back, then I'd love to see him again!!!) 2) o'leary -- who the f*ck are villa??? 3) kevin keegan -- dumb-haired-midget-twat!!! .....and the ugly: 1) ian dowie -- think he did a good job with palace last season, and keeping them in the play-off places shows further talent --- just look at how norwich and southampton have struggled this season..... 2) harry redknapp -- I lost a LOT of respect for him when he left southampton to return to portsmouth, but I think over the years he's been a top manager -- had west ham been able to hold on to their young talent, who knows what he might have been able to do for them... 3) martin jol -- a good record with spurs since he took over, making some astute signings (and sales!) and at last making them into a reasonably consistent team..... ........and finally: david moyes -- I've been a huge fan of his ever since he took over, and if you look at the past 4 seasons (7th, 17th, 4th(!!!), and top half) he's clearly done a good job -- a few things bother me, however: 1) messing yobo around too often, 2) the kroldrup debacle, 3) making weir club captain this season, and 4) not telling ferguson to f*ck off......still let's hope we keep him for some time to come....
  21. commenting on what's been said above: arteta --- agree with fairwooney, for me arteta looked good from day one... osman --- can't say he's been a surprise either, he performed well last season (but there was a lot of moaning that he was too lightweight) for me biggest surprise was the way valente came through, after looking VERY sluggish early on --- pity the injury has hampered him now, so we haven't seen the improvement continue..... also, I think ferrari looked really good when he played in the centre with yobo..... davies -- didn't have a view on him either way before we signed him so can't comment here..... mcfadden -- agree with fozzie here --- I am surprised by him but for the wrong reason --- for me, he has proven that he is NOT premiership material, whereas I thought this season he may show the opposite.....he's crap kroldrup -- definitely the biggest disappointment and surprise -- however the most disappointing thing was not the player himself (although I think he was UTTER SHITE against villa) but rather moyes/the scout/EFC who allowed that disgraceful saga to happen....
