  1. there's been loads of threads on this. club is trying to redevelop GP with minimal impact on ticket revenues...could reasonably be done without taking to large a hit.
  2. I can see Villa dropping well below us and Brum. O'Neill has never won in the Prem during the month of March.
  3. Arteta for once again being our lone creative for. Vic and Jags also deserve a shout.
  4. well that was definitely 2 points lost.
  5. what happened to the defensive steel moyes is known for?
  6. feck. howard should have done loads better with that.
  7. Would be content with that formation. I liked Heits in the DM role, and Distin wasn't half bad when lined up with Jags. I'd rather seen Coleman on the bench, but we all know Moyes has a love for Hibbo. Saha on for Yak in 2nd half if Yak hasn't got his scoring boots on.
  8. If DM had 50 mil to spend....what sort of dreamland are you living in and what drugs did you take to get there (I want some)! In all seriousness tho. If DM had 50 mil to spend over two summers* (plus funds from sales), we'd be top dogs. No question. *50 mil split between two summers...25-25, 20-30, etc.
  9. They're definitely not real. Went to the guy's profile, he's got some slick designs. I especially like his Manure home and Chelsea kit. Wouldn't mind having something like that.
  10. do you fancy a single everton player? or are they all not good enough to wear the shirt?
  11. wow dude. you're still going on about this? Fine, you think Ossie is rubbish, but you also think Pip is a shite cap'n. Can't see how you came to either of those conclusions but whatever I guess you're entitled to your opinion no matter how wrong it is. And I'm pretty sure that there is a difference between discussion of "Everton matters" and the countless pages of ridiculous, mindless drivel that you post.
  12. I think you're the red. Not Ossie. It's clear the man loves the club, and while he might not be a world beater he is good enough to be a squad player in the great majority of teams.
  13. After having worried about this fixture for quite some time, I'm now quite confident of a win. I suspect Donovan will have a screamer as it is his last match. I can't see Arteta losing form. Those two on their game should be enough to take care of Brum. 3-1. Donovan to score. Anyone else find it funny that his first game (not played) was Birmingham and so will be his last?
  14. Really? You really think that? You may need to get your head checked. Sure he's not a great player, but no one has ever said that. The fact is that he is a great leader, motivator and to some extent an organizer. Our play when he was injured was formless and actually worse than it was at the very beginning of the season. As soon as he was back, we started playing with shape again and a more drive and will.
  15. Never have truer, yet more blasphemous words been said.
  16. You're mad. Neville is loads better than Hibbert, VDM, Jo, Castillo, Neill and those have just been with us in the last 2 years. Get a clue. Neville obviously knows how to lead out boys despite not being the best footballer; look at the difference in our form with Nev out vs with him on the pitch, he makes an impact.
  17. Gave Yak an 8 because he played very well. He moved, harried hull's back line and really should have had 2-3. So, he missed a few sitters (which he shouldn't) but it's nice to see him arsed to contribute to the match in a positive way.
  18. He played well today. He's definitely got some size to him now and looks to have acquired some pace. Sign him up for a few more years and see where he gets.
  19. Despite brilliant performances from everyone there is only one possibility for MOTM. Arteta. Howard - 7 couldn't have done a thing about that goal, played well otherwise. Neville 7.5 good defensively and finally showed some creativity going forward. Jags - 7.5 kept hull's front men quiet. Distin - 8 best game for us by a mile (no red card this time ) Baines- 8.5 beautiful links with both mikky and peanuts Heitinga 8.8 fantastic in the DM role...not missing fellaini so much now that I've seen this formation. Anichebe 7 played well on the right, should have done better with 1 or 2 of his chances. Osman 7 too bad he came off injured, but it did let rodders step on... Arteta 10. hat trick (for all intents and purposes). controlled mid-field like fellaini did against citeh, except he scored 3x. Pienaar 9 wonderful play. arteta brings out his best. Yakubu 8 should have found the net. hoping to see that smile next time out, Rodwell 8 magnificent goal Donovan 8 same + that cross to rodwell. SIGN HIM UP! Gosling 7.5 finally looks the part of an Everton senior player. Moyes 10. Got everything right today.
  20. Some guy on Toffeeweb is going on about these being the kits for next year, says he knows a higher up in the club. Who knows? I would love this kit. Definitely better than the V.
  21. Can't understand all the god damn pessimism surrounding the season now that we're out of Europa and lost to Spuds. Doesn't make a shred of sense to me. At the beginning of February every Evertonian would have been ecstatic at the thought of getting six points. We still have aa undoubtedly difficult task to push for 6th (I've thought we've been out of contention for 4th since opening day) but Villa is slipping, and who knows what the RS will do. I think Citeh and Spurs will finish 4-5 with Us, Villa and RS fighting for 6 and 7. I hope we get it, we definitely have the easiest run in, we just need to find some away form. COYB.
