  1. Apart from scoring vital goals and having a assist record high on the opta stats last year? I really can't believe the stick the guy gets, especially when he is a more functional midfielder than Cahill. But because Cahill runs about and has the odd mistimed challenged cheered, he seems better in that role to some.
  2. http://www.inter.it/aas/news/reader?N=32030&L=en Lock thread then please admin.
  3. Milligan was a decent player I thought, though Thompsen and Linderoth come to think of it were also duff.
  4. Neil McDonald, Brett Angell, Espen Baardsen and Tony Hibbert were all equally bad!
  5. Aye, Weir give us years of service so isn't that bad a signing. Though 5 million is way too expensive.
  6. Echo said we have agreed a fee, but it is the Echo is don't know if it's true or not?
  7. We need a strong central midfielder, whether Bangera or somebody else. Time is running out, yet when I see Cana play he was a good price yet would have been ideal. I also have the feeling Bangera isn't coming, it's an issue of money with Valencia and a loan isn't in their interests.
  8. I agree, whilst he is a good shot stopper he is prone to errors and doesn't commend his box. I would welcome a young promising keeper to push Howard, as Nash simply happy on the bench.
  9. As I've commented on before, I think Hangerland is a better player than Lescott and if Everton could get him for 12 million then that would be excellent business.
  10. Depends what you mean, whether all the fit players together or all the linked players also? So I'll take everything in consideration and put together this team: Howard Neville Distain Jageilka Baines Pienaar Rodwell Arteta Bilyaletdinov Cahill Yakubu Subs: Nash Huth Osman Felliani Bangera Saha Jo
  11. True. Reminds me a little of Darren Fletcher a few years back when he was linked, a few fans were not impressed yet he has grown to be a real lion in United middle, so you never know.
  12. 5 million for a 31 soon to be 32 year old seems a bit steep doesn't it? Though he can play at left back, which is a plus.
  13. Anderson can be a world beater when he wants to, but even at United he seems not to want to quite often.
  14. He has sunk to a new low, he should get one of BK I owe you's and that's it!
  15. http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/sport/football/premier_league/aston_villa/article6808583.ece Everton made an approach.
  16. I didn't completely disregard what he said, I agreed with some of his playing abilities. It seems strange though his sudden appearance on the board, that's all. Behave yourselves, the pair of yer before I get the legend to pop round your houses for tea!
  17. Three names: Lucas Neill (free) Luke Young (average but better than Hibbert) Alan Smith (I know but for 2 million he would make a decent squad player).
  18. http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/news/Everton-target-Middlesbrough-s-Robert-Huth-as-Lescott-s-replacement-article129477.html The Huth is coming, the Huth is coming! Not a great chant I know.
