  1. Sorry to be spectical but why on Earth should we listen to a word you said? Nobody (except maybe one or two fans in cuck-coo land) said he was like Arshavin, though it's ironic as Everton interest in Arshavin typically made him go elsewhere i.e. Arsenal. Anyway my only concern is his lack of pace and his statue, but if he signs I will definitely not argue as his potential is there to be matured. And it doesn't matter if he isn't a left winger, Moyes never plays players in their correct positions anyhow!
  2. If that was remotely true, their board must be smoking some high grade crack!
  3. With the lack of cash and time, I would sign Senderos now for around 4-5 million as a squad player. Him and Taylor would fit the bill, Taylor is a must now with the Lescott dosh.
  4. Can see it now, Kenwright holding Yakubu and saying: 'His return is like a new signing'!
  5. That's what I call a real fan, passion and will to change things.
  6. Can somebody closed this thread please? He ain't coming, and the length of time he took was detrimental to all involved.
  7. Agreed, especially when Moyes keeps saying 'there's no time' like he is in the Crystal Maze or something.
  8. If I was a top class Everton player, I'd sign for United or Citeh!
  9. Mr clinical eh? Well I never! I bet you Everton sign Senderos, some no mark player other than Bengera and that's it. Ambition whilst Kenwright is in charge is dead, and so will be the season if the boys don't get their act together. Anyway this interview doesn't inspire confidence: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/e/everton/8217134.stm He admits the Lescott deal is more or less his only source of transfer funding, very very depressing. Kenwright must walk!
  10. Don't hold your breath! I bet anyone of you (matches or paper weights) that Everton sign two players, one being Senderos and the other some loan guy other than Bangera. It's a shambles, the board have let Moyes and the fans down again after promising it wouldn't happen again! Kenwright must fall on his wooden sword.
  11. Poor passing and ball retaining has always been a weakness in Moyes sides, exposed more when Arteta and Pienaar don't play. It's disheartening that again we have got off to a terrible start due to Kenwright not providing the funds in the summer, are we to go through this again before anything get's done?
  12. While some fans still think it's beyond Everton to do this intentionally, many others now are realising we fans are being taken for a ride time and time again. Everton seem to be the only club this crap happens to, how can we obtain a permit for a guy who doesn't even know about a transfer? Valencia will only sell, so if Everton want him then they must pay up, meaning he ain't coming.
  13. Absolutely unacceptable, 100% unacceptable! If this doesn't kick-start a transfer rush of players then we are truly doomed!
  14. http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/sport/football/premier_league/manchester_city/article6806540.ece He has gone, with Graeme Sharp rightly slagging Lescott off. Now who will we bring in? I would love Brede Hangerland, who is available for 12 million, along with Taylor and a right/left winger.
  15. Back to topic, Bystrov isn't coming as the player apparently denied the move today. So, I know Moyes can't dismiss all the names linked to the club, but I do wonder why this one was allowed to run and run if there wasn't a hint of truth in there?
  16. Well the one man you mentioned was rumoured for the sack until O'Neill burnt Kenwright fingers and went to Villa, and Lescott attitude and scant regard for the club in my eyes contribute to him being a nothing. It's only my opinion. Anyway, let's hope he has gone and some of the 24 million will go to a center back and a right/left sided winger.
  17. Lescott was nothing yes, and still is nothing as far as I'm concerned. But I think your praise of Moyes was well over the top, as the club is greater than any one man!
  18. Warning signs about hating playing at left back? Players know their strengths and weaknesses and nobody could have foreseen problems then because of that, though back then I liked his hint of arrogance. Here's a question, though Lescott deserves all the abuse he gets do you think Moyes would stay if United came knocking?
  19. Nah it isn't true. should have seen Wiki with the Russian bloke Vladmir Bystrov, it said he was subbed for being tipsy and his best mate was on The Skies are Grey. So wouldn't take Wiki seriously if I were you.
