i had a dream last n8 that we signed him an he scored twice on his debut, if only it was true.
Dry dream I hope!
-
I believe he would be a good signing, his dirty yet decisive defending is exactly what we need at present. What is far more worrying is Moyes plan to play Heitinga in the middle, as stated here:

Simply unbelievable.

If he was guaranteed first team football at the RS or Citeh, sounds like he would have gone there. I would have wanted him to come out and say he choose Everton because they are the team on the up, we all know he would have been lying but it's still something you want to hear as a fan.
Maybe I'm being too picky on this one.

That's the spirit lad, eh.............. no not what I wanted to hear from him.
-
His goal scoring record may be similar but I don't think we'll see Jose scoring against Argentina in the latter stages of the World Cup next year!
He's a prospect, but the club has loads of them and then releases them without giving them a game.
True, but then who's to blame for that?

Pro evo 2010 demo is out tomorrow, as it's decision time whether it's Fifa or Pro. I've been Pro seen it's emergence on the SNES, but from 2008 I've been playing Fifa as Pro have dropped the ball.
Decisions, decisions..........

Kipper is a vile, racist and extremely unreliable site of horse manure. I wouldn't even ask them for the time of day, as those illiterates haven't a clue. Pity Neill is apparently going to A Madrid, but makes sense with Heitinga coming here.
-
Fantastic name, but at 5ft 5ins can he make the grade in the Prem?
-
I think him going out on loan for a season is te best thing that could happen to him for is career. The only way he will have a future at Everton is going out on loan to help him kick on. Osman came back a much better player after his loan spells at Carlilse and Derby.
If that's the case then better cut our losses now! Seriously though Vaughan talent is questionable, and his injury record concerns me especially at such a young age. I think Jo will stay beyond the season, I hope so as don't understand the stick he gets.

After quitting Chelski Peter Kenyon said there is one major challenge left in him, could that be Everton?
-
After watching the BBC video, now I know why Moyes likes determined players after watching the gaffers touches.
-
Some people are completely insane.
God help us if we go down the crap in the next few years and one of them wins the lottery and buys us out. We'll all be gagging like San Francisco hookers for Kenwright back
I severely doubt that!
-
I would rather have him any day of the year, than Hibbert! Just the gritty player we need in desperate times.
-
But what I mean is, the guy just looks for any excuse to have a go at Moyes. We could win champions league and he would still moan about us drawing with AC Milan in the group stage.
Hehe, yeah that sounds about right.
-
Sorry to sound like Milky, but who seriously cares?
-
For a 17 year old, his goal record is similar to Owen I believe at that age. Very good prospect, let's see how Moyes develops him.
-
I think this is the end for Vaughan, realistically he hasn't got a future here so all the best to him.
-
Apparently they refuse to put any money in while Kenwright is in charge. How true that is I have no idea.
Don't blame them.
-
Typical, Everton linked with Arsahvin then end up with Castillo. But good vid.
-
Most of his critism of Moyes in this piece was correct.. crazy decisions etc but he has no credibility.
And the apologists do?
-
I think you are spot on , I was very dissapointed in Rodders especially at the weekend
Abit harsh, especially when the ball largely was hoovering aimlessly over his head. Besides, we shouldn't be placing so much on the kid at his age.
-
if, and i very big IF we somehow managed to get him, it wouldnt be a case of fitting him in, he would be first name on the team sheet. and rightly so, he is better than every single player we have.
Agreed, but there is no point in signing him as the ball will never go through the midfield under Moyes hoof ball system.
-
After the Fulham game a lot of the chatter has been about Timmy and his ability in midfield. I've always argued that while he is a vital team member, his tactical ill discipline means he is a sort of luxury player. His goal scoring talents are second to none, and is very handy at defending his lines, but ultimately I don't think he has ever been a good ball player.
Interesting subject, as most of our midfield seem non functional at the moment.
-
it would appear are reserves are not much cop either so our squad is looking threadbare at the moment.
and no rb for thursday night with nev out hibbert suspended and heitinga cup tied

After Moyes said he is planning to play Heitinga as Neville replacement, for the love of mercy come back Neville. Moyes is seriously mistaken if he thinks Heitinga is a midfielder, why does he continue to play people in their wrong positions?
