Has he got it wrong, though? He's not using it in a possessive sense, but as a contraction, isn't he? Euro's = European Championship is. In which case, he's doubled up on his 'is'?
If you don't have cable, I'd really recommend Sky. They ran a test before I signed up, told me the speed I'd get, and that's what I get. I have the unlimited package, calls, TV (my life, basically). Server reliable, too. And cheap.
Hmmm, I wonder which we'll subject him to? The guns-blazing, all out attack?
I doubt Jelavic can make something out of nothing, which is what we really require from a striker. We simply don't have the creativity in other areas of the pitch to help him out. Love to be proved wrong, but I doubt I will be.
And who on the current team, in your opinion, best exemplifies this spirit of going the extra yard? And which of them haven't sulked? I can think of quite a few that would apply to.
Delighted for Bily that he’s got a chance to resurrect his career. I think that’s almost everyone with an ounce of creativity off the roster now. Barkley next, surely. I’m sure the boo boys on this board will be delighted with a midfield of runners and heavies, huffing and puffing across the park.
Though I've broadened my musical taste since I was a teenager, the best group I ever saw live were Bauhaus (Hammersmith Palais '82). Absolutely rivetting if you like that kind of thing. I was in the music industry for many years and got to see quite a few acts up close - rehearsing et al. George Michael, who I don't really like, had a wonderful voice.
I wonder if that's a generation thing. Owning the book / vinyl, feeling the cover, reading the insert, was part of the appeal (for me, anyway). I'm not sure that's the case now. Getting old.
High street bookshops are all in trouble. Sad for those of us in the writing business, as the switch to digital copies means it will be even harder to eke out a living. Books will go the same way as records.
Really intrigued as to how many books people actually read on Kindle, as opposed to buying the 'real' thing and reading that. Has the eBook taken the place of the physical copy for anyone?
I think they would have been better with,
Our life is a long and arduous quest after Truth
or, more pertinently,
An error does not become truth by reason of multiplied propagation, nor does truth become error because nobody sees it.
May be a bit too far out the box, but I’m sick of defensive stuff. So I’d try:
Howard
Drenthe - (never understood why you can’t have a left-sided right back – gives us extreme pace and width here) - Distin - Heitinga - Baines
Fellaini (to break the play up and distribute)
Osman - Bily - Barkley
(have them constantly rotating positions – get amongst opponents in upper third – all can shoot)
Vellios - Anichebe
(system would work great with a bona fide striker – sell Rodwell and invest to get one, please – but, if this is all we have, these guys would have to run the damn channels, hold the ball up and use their bloody size.)

Erm, so your view was based on what you heard...and those people 'who saw nothing of the game' (like yourself) - were basing it on...what? Were they guessing?
Absolutely - as these indicate:

If you wear blinkers, you're only going to see what you want to see.
Absolutely, she should go. If a white politician were to make an equally crass comment like ‘black people love to play the race card’, I would hope they’d do the honourable thing. The fact she’s allowed to stay on shows utter weakness on the part of the Labour Party.
Bearing in mind the treatment of Suarez for his mindless racism, anybody else find it odd Diane Abbott stays in her job? Yet another example of the hypocritical double standard on the racial playing field?
