i agree with this, whilst he is not cheap he is on par with most of the midfielders we have been linked with both salary and ability wise just less the fee. if we take him i would be with clauses around behaviour etc as people would be out to goad him and try and bring the old joey barton out, and as much as he mellowed out we are all human !

Agree with this logic, he has shown glimpses for being a good player but is very injury prone.

Yes sadly if a team bids higher than the clause other teams do not need to follow . as said if Fellaini is the only player we lose and thats for 24 Mill i would be content, bring in McCarthy from Wigan, more game time for Barkley wouldnt be too bad.

lets not forget the Malaga job is available too, that said i think its stonewall that he will be with us next season, i am with haf on this one of my top 3 and will be happy with any of them (same as his).

This is the one player i can see leaving this summer :-( and i would say Utd to be the likely place, wonder moves for our players will turn the relationship we hold with Moyes? bit like its starting too now with him paid by us and working for Utd.

he has been linked with Swans hasnt he? he is better than Ba imo and better than Torres in current form also, not sure what they will do when new man comes in.
