he came off saying he didnt know what he is doing, which was allot of our comments last season! To the debate he is a good impact player and gives us different options we have a good blend of 3 different types of strikers and if you add Kevin to the mix it gives us a good blend depending on who we are playing and how the results are going. Is he a world beater no he isnt and i dont think any of us believe that to be the case, next season when our loan signings return would we be happy for him to lead the line probably not, but are we all happy with the progress he has made we surely are indeed and we dont groan when he comes on either. I recall when he signed Jelly saying he was one of the best finishers he has played with which is a compliment in itself.

I agree tho he does need a run of games but yesterday was out strongest starting 11 IMO and he is not in it so it's unlikely this season he will get a run in the team and if we had lukaku earlier I doubt he would be an Everton player now.

Howard for me, thought Jags had a good second half too and second week running Martinez made a game changing sub with Ossie coming on and providing the killer pass and a great ball too. Also very inpressed with how Barry has settled so quickly and the influence his has around the place will be a good battle between him and lukaku for signing of the season !!!

i heard barry signed a two year contract but obviously thats not true and doubt we are paying 125k a week for him maybe 70k from Felli. SSN said loan fee for Lukaku was 3 million, who knows we may have an option to buy him fingers crossed. We documented Net Net we are stronger 7 in 5 out and 7 in are of better quality IMO, granted 2 on loan but if Barry does well he could potentially sign next season. So we have a positive balance on transfer front, lets use that and tie Baines down to a new long term contract, he is our best player and should be paid accordingly. Finally lets not forget that we have increased revenue from Sky deal too, wages i dont think the 3 mill quoted here is true but even if so that and the standard "Operational Cost" increases there should have been money to spend from that too (in theory!). Hope RM gets backing in Jan but a few months off now so focus on getting Barry up to speed and continue our new style intergration. Really like the look of the team quoted in another thread, with strength in all areas on the bench with players than can come on and make a difference and not just make up numbers.
