  1. Absolutely no need to kick Coleman in the head. Especially after he'd already landed on top of him with all of his weight. He's a knob head and I wish someone would smack him in enormous beak.

Kick is a bit much, he just made sure Coleman was in the way when he dropped his foot.

It's naughty, he shouldn't do it, I doubt it even hurt Coleman that much but little things like that wind players up and intimidate them. 10 years ago no one would have battered an eyelid.

  2. Struggling for two reasons:

He's never really done it in the big leagues before, used to playing in piss poor Italian and French leagues.

    He's old as fuck.

Over rated pish in my opinion and never proved his worth to be regarded as a world class player.

    Struggling?

I actually like his nasty streak too, I wish more of our players had that.

  3. I disagree, I do think he changed the game. However, I think whoever we brought in and played up with Rom would've done that. The United defence then had another player to deal with instead of just playing pass the parcel with Rom.

That's not to take anything away from Valencia, because I think he should be given more minutes. Starting with two up top in certain games is definitely the way to go. Just don't ever play Valencia up on his own because that would be a disaster!

We more or less played 2 up top the whole game with Mirallas and Lukaku. Mirallas was probably a little deeper but not a number 10 as we didn't bother passing the ball through midfield.

I think what helped is that we had natural wingers playing as natural wingers and the a support striker in Valencia playing as a support striker to Rom. It's amazing what can happen when people play in the positions they are best in.

Valencia did well when he came on but he just isn't a natural goal scorer. I would give him a go off Rom but we are in more trouble if Rom gets injured.

  4.

It did kind of happen in slow motion, he'd probably have hooked it out if he'd sprinted, but I can understand his hesitation. Normally in that sort of weird situation it goes in or it stays out, very rare that it takes so long to make its mind up (the ball) so it was a bit of a "rabbit in the headlights" moment when you're not entirely sure what to do instinctively. He could have saved it but he shouldn't have been put in the position he was by Stek's moment of madness.

I agree, bit of a hindsight moment.

On the whole I though Mori was much better than Jags has been and he did ok. Couple of heart in mouth moments but then he made some crucial blocks and tackles.

  5. United were dreadful but we were absolutely shocking. We played with 7 defenders. This Koeman is a joke. A better side would have ripped us apart.

They should have finished us off after half time. We were all over the place, panicking, disjointed, no control over possession but we got away with it.

  6.

Terrible.....with passion, just lately, we've been, Terrible......without passion.

It wasnt full passion until the last 10-15 mins... They were better in that department but hardly playing like their lives depended on it.

  7. We got what we deserved. United had 2 shots on target all match, it was only due to the absolute clanger from Steks and Funes Mori being to lazy to chase the chipped ball in to clear it in time.

We had 6 shots on target. So it is abundantly clear that they had a brtter goalkeeper and we just aren't clinical enough

One of those off target shots was them hitting the post though.

  8. That's a point I wasn't expecting after 60 minutes and we didnt deserve one but Mourinho being Mourinho wanted to hang onto his 1-0 lead and sat back and we created enough to earn a point.

Cleverley and Stek were shite but I can't really fault the energy from anyone else, even the subs came on and had a go. Holgate probably the pick of the bunch.

I don't think anyone stood out enough to be a clear MOTM but Gueye probably shaded it.

  9. I'd rather he played Gibson than Cleverley. At least he can pass.

We broke away then and there was just Mirallas and Lukaku up for Bolasie to pass to. Where is the fucking energy from midfield breaking forward to get involved? This is a team of lazy, lazy bastards.

In fairness to the midfielders we are playing back to front so quickly that most of the time they don't have the chance to get that far forward.
