A truly great full back,I think he invented the sliding tackle he had it of to perfection.He and George Thompson in the left back position formed a very good Scotish full back team. RIP
I have often wondered what Martin was doing since he stopped playing. Being on the backroom staff of his home town club has kept him out of the news.Good luck to him
