  1. In my opinion he came flying out his area just to stop, he should have either called and put the ball into the main stand or let Yobo deal with it instead of coming into no mans land where he was bound to come of second best. I agree with the whole defence being to blame collectively for defeat but for me Howard has to answer for that particular goal. EDIT: I forgot to mention in my previous post....I thought Phil Neville had one of his best games for Everton. Im not his biggest fan by any stretch but fair play to him, he got stuck in yesterday.
  2. IF he could get his head sorted then I agree Bill, I rate him highly. BUT will he ever be right in the head? Controversy seems to follow him, Big Dunc pissed many supporters off (I might add not me ) so would it be wise to get a player who seems to be even crazier than him?
  3. I think it was a bit of miss communication, I havnt seen the replays on the tele yet but from where i was sitting it looked as if Yobo and Tim didnt call for it. In that case I think it was down to Howard to command his area. Cant believe it to be honest, overall we where the better team on the night but gave away soft goals and didnt take our chances, which Arsenal did brilliantly. What might have been if The Yak would have put that header away? Its a deverstating result (its a long walk back to the car to go home when youve lost ), but lets hope they keep there heads up, if we can mix it with one of the best teams in the world then we can do it against the rest. Silly mistakes and lapses of concentration have to be cut out though. COYB! And lets hope the tit who through the bottle at Almunia gets booted out of the ground for good, sensless thing to do, I'm not sure whether they picked it up on the tele but if it wasnt, it was a idiotic thing to do.
  4. I cant remember my views on him to be honest now but I thought he as a good player then and still is. Its a shame hes an utter twat really...
  5. I'm sorry about that Mac. Glad to see your keeping thread classy... Just you I think, I havnt stopped eating though so back to the gym in January

    Bolton

It wasnt a great match by any stretch but a very good win all the same. I thought Bolton were hard to break down, we couldnt play any sort of fancy football in the first half which we have been able to in recent weeks. There a twat of a team Bolton, I lost count of the number of fouls in the first half! I thought if we got one we would get a few to be honest, they where there for the taking, it was only Anelka who ever looked capable of doing anything. Neville's was forunate but desereved in all fairness, and i was made up it was that bellend in goal who made the mistake. (Great chant started by some fella a few rows back, 'Feed the Nev and he'll score' ) Mikky was class as ever I though, he gets better every game and doesnt mind mixing it up with players who's sole purpose is to just boot players (most of the Bolton team...) Tommy was quiet, still doesnt look match fit IMO but he had me crying when he 'accidently' booted the lad Gardener 3 foot in the air. When Gardener was on the floor Graveson looked at us in the Gwladys and pulled one of his strange faces, nearly pissed meself MOTM: The Jag - Anelka in his arse pocket the whole game, his block in the second half was superb, the new Stubbsy! Great three points, BRING ON THE ARSE! COYB
  7. Happy Christmas Everyone All the best Ian
  8. Cellotape. I wont go into detail, but my day has been wasted trying to find the end of the bastard...
  9. scoring a hatrick then two against Arsenal isnt bad! Hes a target man and a natural goalscorer, that volley he scored was special. Hes been scoring for fun, great buy IMO, a steal for that price.
  10. not a nice thought I think Neville is a decent full back, I think we've got enough cover to make sure he stays there Like I said in another post I think we will go for 4-4-2 against United, with Cahill dropping back and Aj going up with the Yak. I can see grav starting against Alkmaar.
  11. Im gettin goosebumps just thinking of that happening, I will sell me left bollock if need be to get to that (or just wait in the que to be a ticket )
  12. Agree Bill, I think they will resort back to 4-4-2 against United, let Cahill drop back into the four and play AJ alongside the Yak
  13. aye, agree with the bus drivers shout, most of them are jobsworth bellens, you do get the odd decent one though. ............................ People not wanting to get anywhere fast, stopping talking in the middle of a busy shopping centre, with 2 prams.
  14. Like Peter Griffins show 'Grind my Gears' This is the thread to moan about things that get on your tits. Example. Alan 'Curbs' Never stops moaning, has an excuse for every game and constantly worries about the international team more than his own team. Complete tool. Feel free to have a good old moan
  15. You cant argue with the speed of us can you , well played me, bill and Mark Like I said in the topic I made, I think we've got ample cover for now, January is just around the corner as well so perhaps another midfield loan would happen. Best wishes to Leon, hope he has a speedy recovery, hes been immense recently.

Thankyou You can feel the love back in TT HQ
  20. Well didnt this topic go a bit wayward... I think he was a decent acquisition, he IS a quality player, fit or not fit he can pick out a pass. I would have liked to see more of him but to be honest, i dont think anyone here can pass judgement on his fitness (correct me if im wrong) as no one in the midfield can be shifted at the minute, they've all played exceptionally well and not one of them could have been dropped to accomedate Tommy. Hes a good player to come off the bench, maybe just for this season until we can get a more long term player with that flair and commitment, but until that happens I think it was a decent bit of business. Can all the name calling and bitching be left to a specilised thread? I cant be arsed trawling through pages of petty arguements. Thinking Evertonians lads
