  1. If that's his true goal/game ratio--definitely a keeper.
  2. I think Jack is best as an Anchor man--sitting very, very deep in the middle with little responsibility other than to get the ball forward to someone in front. Right wing? no way.
  3. Am I reading the poll right? Or is it glitching? No votes for anyone else... only Barkley. Well deserved though. Won't be long before another club sees his talents... probably the likes of City or ManU.
  4. Yep, WTF. I just had a feeling that would be the result. Fucking pissed. I DO NOT UNDERSTAND THE SQUAD SELECTION AT ALL.
  5. 2-1 (Beckford, Baines) - (Taarabt)
  6. The US national team's only real strategy was the counter-attack before Klinnsman, hence why Donovan added to that aspect of Everton's strategy.
  7. One thing I'll have to say about Donovan is that MLS would probably keep Donovan from going through. LA wouldn't be the ones to accept any transfer offers; the MLS is consider one entity, thus, all the teams are grouped together as one team, and the MLS has the final say on all transfers of players leaving the MLS. MLS gets 33 percent of the transfer fund for any player. Yeah, it's pretty crazy. When we sold Altidore to Villareal the fee was around 12 mil. At the time, Altidore was a young player who hadn't really established himself, so given the popularity of Donovan here I'd say it would be hard for the MLS to let him go for less than 9-10 mil ( only slightly cheaper than Altidore because of his age). He sells shirts and is considered the one of the best players for the league.
  8. I want to say he meant it, because he's not afraid of the long shot. Then again, that was ridiculous.
  9. Donovan always says on twitter that he'd only come back to the PL for Everton. True Blue.
  10. http://youtu.be/EhsgKRpWKPY Just some highlights of Shea I'm glad to see all the Donovan support. For the national team he plays left, right, center, and striker so he has a lot of versatility.
  11. I would love to see him back at Everton; however, I am biased, because I am an American. He's a really big deal over here and has won the MLS MVP like 6 or 7 times. Having said that, I'd have to say that he is getting older... his pace could be decreasing... You guys should look up Brek Shea though... 21 year old American left winger. He's been brilliant as of late, and he's about 6'3" so he's got some strength to him. He'd be a good prospect for the future I think. He currently starts for FC Dallas and has scored about 10 goals this season so far... on the other hand, the American league doesn't match the PL in reputation.
  12. lol. I'm a p2p.eu junkie; I have to be since I live in the States. I hope to make a trip to England soon so I can see the glorious Toffees in person. COYB!
  13. Bring Donovan back... problem solved. Oh, wait: LA won't sell him, and Everton couldn't afford him anyway.
  14. I'd be surprised if he signed both... I'll really be pissed if we see Jags and don't get to use the entirety of his transfer fee on a new player or two. Probably won't happen though seeing as the ownership will probably use some of it for the debt
  15. Total squad aggression would increase by approximately 457%.
  16. I love the daily show. Jon Stewart is a genius and actually provides a lot of valuable insight.
  17. I'll post my opinion as soon as pre-season is over.
  18. I like the prediction of QPR finishing in 10th. I really enjoy watching Taraabt play.
  19. Sitting on the fence... Barton is a douchebag, no doubt. One wrong move and I'd want him out. But in the interest of the team...he'd add much needed depth. I just really hate his guts as a person. I'm trying to remember it's about the game and not his personal life... though I am jaded.
  20. Psh. 10? I'd sell him for 7. ...fingers crossed
  21. I'd say he has the potential to be considered in the top 3 (Kompany) in the future... not sure about right now. I definitely enjoy watching him play. Really, it is subjective, and based on what kind of style of team you'd prefer to have when it comes to talking about "best" players.
  22. Want him to do well, but he sure is taking his time to show how good he can be.
