  1. Arsenal and Everton are locked in a battle to sign Freiburg striker Papiss Demba Cisse. Cisse, 26, is rated one of the best strikers in the Bundesliga after scoring 32 goals in the last 18 months. The Senegal forward is producing the best football of his career and has already scored four goals in just three appearances this season. Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is looking to strengthen his forward line following the departure of Samir Nasri and has been impressed with the performances of Cisse. But he faces stiff competition from Everton who are also looking for a proven goalscorer and want to bring new players in following their shock home defeat against QPR last weekend. Freiburg are looking for around £13.5m for his signature and Cisse, who has also been linked with Fulham, has opened the door for a move to England after revealing that he would love the chance to play in the Premier League. Cisse said: “I have a contract with Freiburg but I want to play at the highest level. The Premier League is a big league and I want to leave.” http://www.talksport.co.uk/sports-news/football/premier-league/1021/99/arsenal-and-everton-battle-freiburg-star
  2. You should stop trying to post porn then or send them to my pvt messages 1st!
  3. Give it to him because he did the basics of what i expect from him which so often he doesnt. Chased down defenders, kept it simple, worked his arse off and scored a goal. If he does the 1st 3 in every game i will be happier with him
  4. *Looks over shoulder to see if Beard is about* That would be 11 wins in 60-61 season
  5. No it wasnt used, Old Trafford was used though. White City wasnt originally a venue but Wembley refused to cancel a dog meeting held on the same day so they had to move the football for that game
  6. Jags helping his old club! 0-1
  7. Its always been like that on there mate. If we won 15-0, they would still complain and put a negative spin on it
  8. Forget football for a min and think of leaders from around the world. They are not the weak link of the organisation like Phil is, i fail to see how a player who shouldnt be a automatic starter in the 1st 11 can be considered capt
  9. Its a sub-site of Rawk isnt it? I have seen more positive Everton stories on RAWK to be honest
  10. Never said they cant make mistakes, but phil is responsible for a lot more than any capt should
  11. Certainly couldnt ask that question of a member of TW
  12. Its the only place the matters Jesse, he is a captain of a football team. How can a leader 'lead' and inspire the rest if its the very same player who is responsible for messing up in the 1st place?
  13. If you think about it, most fk's are scored as result of the wall causing an effect, ie deflection off it, the attacker bending it round thus causing the keeper a late view of the ball or just plain brilliance. You have seen how many pens can be saved with no obstruction so put the ball back another 10-15 yds and it makes it v difficult in my opinion
  14. How many clubs fans actually look in depth at club accounts and scrutinise every minute detail? Prob very few I have no idea how Everton football club is run and neither does any fan (despite what some claim), therefore there is no possible way to answer what report Elstone has to give to Kenwright, obviously 24m other operating costs isnt one of them!
  15. Interesting never been given an England cap while at Everton despite some saying he has been in great form, and given a greater responsibility and the international team not being blessed in this area....go figure!
  16. Being financial savvy is not the same as knowing what the milkman gets paid. I would be very worried if Elstone couldnt tell us that answer but not the chairman
  17. When you say everyone who exactly are you talking about? Certainly not me, i have never rated him
  18. Our top scorer for the last god knows how many seasons you mean? Jt top scorer last year when according to you he had a terrible season and pissed off to Aus. The guy who has got us out of the shit more times than i care to mention since he joined for a cut price figure. The guy who shows more passion for the club is his little finger than the majority of the squad? Yeh shit him mate, i would hate a capt like that above
  19. I would ask you to survey the premiership chairmen and come back to me with how many can answer the same sort of question. Your confusing the chairman, ie the figurehead of the club with the CEO who does the day to day running. In fact scrap that ask any chairman of any big corporation the same thing
  20. Dont think Jag does it neither to be honest. Not consistent enough for me, before last season i would have said Arteta
  21. Thing is they havent done a thing that we didnt already know. Everyone knows were skint and we dont need some group with a big ego going behind the clubs back recording stuff to tell us this. As far as am concernced they have done more harm than good
