You read the same trivia site as me mate! I read this one yesterday, would love to see this team back in the prem as i used to going to their ground

To be fair most teams do it though. My main gripe through watching football is why do goalies have walls? If i was,an international goalkeeper i would fancy my chances from 25yds out against anyone on a clear shot so why do they put an obstacle in their line of view? Never have got that logic

Dont agree on that at all, Sell 1 top star and it would get the banks off our backs for a bit. This fire sale talk is just silly and wont help the team at all

No guarantees of that whatsoever. What if the youngsters arent good enough and we go down? We have already secured money against our premier league status, with out that finance we wont able to repay it back and then its Leeds Mk11

Cant see the logic in selling our best players just to reduce a bit of debt. Makes no sense whatsoever, with the current squad we can still get top 7/8 and i would rather be watching that than a team full of kids struggling at the bottom and reduced debt

Played along in the same side as Bob The Pole, Beagrie, Mo Johnston and the like, left in about 94 and as someone said played and also managed in the MLS. Think Paddy Nevin without the skill

QPR had 1 shot so how you can say they controlled anything is pure fantasy. Fellaini was 1 of the few bright sparks when he came, making an instant impact and almost getting the leveller at the end

Can you qualify your best captain in the game comment? A captain to me is a leader on the pitch, an example being Dave Watson. Someone who leads by example, taking the game by the scruff of the neck and pushing the team. Neville is none of these, he is constantly 1 of the worst on the pitch for our team in terms of skill and what influence he brings to the result. Possibly 1 of the worst club captains ever in the history of Everton Football Club Must admit its one of my main bug bears with him. From admitting Fergie is the greatest manager not long after he arrived (yes he is but i dont want my capt saying it), choosing to console his former team mates after the semi rather than celebrate with us 1st, not knowing when we were formed and last week sitting with the mancs.

That sums up Ossie though, there is no middle ground with him. He either plays very well or like yesterday disappears up his own arse
