  1. apart from the goal, i tohught it was a very strong defensive preformance. Jonny h was obviously not fit enough to be on the pitch, amazed he came out for the second half. i suspect if we had still been 1-0 up we wouldnt have seen him. I went for distan again (two on the trot???) as personally i think he was just as good as last week. i cant remember him putting a foot wrong and controlled the defence with jags well.
  2. Matt, i think what stevo was getting at was that if we didnt have any debt, we wouldnt have any loans to pay off etc. i remember the 90s where we came close to being in serious trouble but we managed to "restructure" our debts over 25 years or something crazy. Im sure thats where the majority of our money now goes and so we make a loss every year. If we had no debt, we would have no repayments and so would be in a simular position to spurs, stoke etc
  3. thankyou romey, i always enjoy that read. Seems we have a very simular view on the game.
  4. timmy was awesome today, but i have given it to distan. im not his biggest fan at all, but he did me proud today and if that effort had have gone it i think i would still be cheering now. i think the whole team played well. Great effort shown by the whole team and im so proud i cant stop smiling I think beckford needs some confidance, shame he couldnt set up the yak or finish that half chance off
  5. according to teamtalk the points deduction could well be implied now as kop holdings is purly for liverpool FC. i wouldnt mind liverpool at all, if it wasnt for there whinging fans who think its there god given right that they are the best and deserve to win everything. Personally this is a kick in the teeth for me, as my baseball team is also the Red sox (always thought of them as simular to us as being the under dog to the NYY for so long)
  6. Big Nev after a shave and weight loss?

    tough game for liverpool tomorrow....FOOTBALL
  8. ossie was awesome first half, faded in the second half when the ball bypassed him but all in all my MOTM. Bainsy was fantastic all game to, very close second and yak/fellie tied third
  9. yes reg, thats exactly what they plan on doing from what i have been reading. such a shame really.
  10. couldnt agree more. I quite litrally bumped into him walking around analfield a few years ago at a derby game (the one where dunc scored and i think ince equallised) and he walked into me then had the ordacity to say "aint ya gunna say sorry"? to which i replied you walked into me big nose. he didnt look happy and i have hated him ever since. i even wrote to sky to complain about him last year and his anti-everton comments on soccer saturday!
  11. marco, to be fair that was rafa that spent the money, not the owners (well its there money but they were prob told he was the next best thing etc...) personally i dont see what they have done wrong either, but liverfool FC need a scapegoat and they are it. To be fair, i wouldnt be happy with owners who risked the future of the club just purchasing, but they have spent a fair amount of there own money on the club since being there.
  12. tres funny, but at the same time...naaa fuck it just funny lol
  13. well, one way oh him getting experiance is playing him on the right wing, which i think would do him wonders. they say that rodders will be a center back and is playing in midfield to gain experiance...why not try the same with Ramos? Even if its 20-30 mins coming off the bench? bale has turned into a fantastic left sided winger as he is simular to colman but playing down the left.
  14. from what i have heard, he is being paid around £5000 a week from cardiff, and still on £85,000 from man city...
  15. only thing that would make me laugh more than that would be the kopites being religated.
  16. had it confirmed from a "friend" who plays for cardiff, signing for them tomorrow. He is wetting himself with excitment, thats a pretty attacking team they have now! apparently gunna be given the captains armband and wont be taking much of a wage from Cardiff either.
  17. or a bid for gosling?? lol one player i would bloody love in an everton shirt is robbie keane. i know lots wont agree but think he would do a cracking job here (and wouldnt that piss off the guys from across the park)
  18. 15 million? hmmmm tough one in todays market. How about a cheeky bid Martins at Wolfsberg? shame we didnt get him from newcastle! quick, good with both feet...shame he suffers a bit of lazyness
  19. i would tell them they can give us 2million plus parker, cole and pretty much there whole squad...and then we would think about it...failing that. tell the fuckwits to piss off!
  20. cheers mate. its alot of hard work, joint venture this time so alot less than before.
