couldnt have put it better chacargo! i have no doubt that moyes is looking for a younger CB to eventually replace distan, but he is a very good solid defender who hads much needed height to the back. He is quick, mobile and very fit. im hoping we now go for a right back, a younger cb and a right winger, and this is possibly the strongest everton squad in generation!

Alex Nayarko or however u spell it! he has to be the worst i have seen. i cant believe some people are slagging brett angel off! the one game i saw him in (the everton 6-2 win over swindon) he hit the cross bar from 6 yards out (open goal, diving header) to set up Beagrie!!!!! cant remember mitch ward scoring though, i know cottee got a hatrick and it was mike walkers first game in charge (i was on match of the day that night!) madar wasnt to bad, nor was alexaderson! the player who was the biggest let down for me was Mark pembridge. he used to bang them in from 40 yards for fun for Sheff wed, and hardly had a shot for us!

Fantastic news and a player i think that will do well in the team! Pie man to right mid, bily the kid at on the left, feli nev and Arteta in the middle with jags and s.taylor in the middle of defence. bainsy left back and find that magical right back (or swap nev for rodders and have pip at rb) thats a strong team with out 8 strikers (according the sky sports squad list!)

taylor imo, is a better centre back than lescott, although j-lo gives you the versatility! taylor can play right back but he is definatly more suited to centre back and can be a strong character on the field. if we can get taylor in for 8, senderos in for 6 and elm in for 6, and lescott goes for 22, i think thats a fantastic bit of business and i would certainly not loose any sleep over it! Lescott has been good for us, but he isnt the best and i still feel he let us down for the first goal in the FA cup final!

i hated the idea...but then i started to think. Moyes has a fantastic record of getting the best out of players who have struggled at there previous clubs. arteta and pienaar spring to mind there! Free, and under 35k a week and i would be happy. if we had him, saha and jimmy boy backing up the yak i would be very confidant! THEN WE NEED A RIGHT BACK WITH SOME PACE!

Nev for me. Fantastic captains preformance and made some amazing tackles. unlucky to get booked! Im gutted but i was really gutted for him. He only has a few years left of playing and i really wanted this for him. You could see it hurt him but hopefully it will make them all stronger!
