Pompey 4 Europe
Ohh right, what you dont like the idea of Kirkby?
BLUE-TAC
The vote was worded not in an underhand way but just didnt offer all options, it was kirkby or nothing and obviously we all want something new. Its got to the point where the fans just want to show what they really feel and the majority (forget the vote) would prefer somewhere nearer to Goodison (and the current feeling that i'm aware of more than any other is to redevelop Goodison). Kirkby is becoming another farce with differing opinions at board level about how much we would have to invest etc. For me, the vote has now become null n void. Hope you get the move you want (and us too)!
Pompey 4 Europe
Cheers B-T, but now even having probs with our new stadium plan The Waterfront Stadium as the Royal Navy has said there not allowing us to build it in gunwharf, so noe our archietechs are re-desiging the stadium in horsea island. (if yu didnt know the people who are designing our stadium made Bayern Munich's stadim)

Louis
Before the vote fans were told it would be a free world class stadium (and Tesco would pay for most of it), they said Goodison Park is going to fail it's Health and Safety test and it's falling down. Since then Tesco have denied they are giving the club a penny and Simon Inglis (the guy who makes the sports stadium safety guides for the government has said there will be no problems with Goodison in the near future) Some further details here: http://www.keioc.net/index.php?page=were-we-misled

MikeO
ahhhh right, well tht stadium on tht webby looked ok...didnt it ? Not really a question of whether it's a good stadium or not, for some it's not even totally a question of where it is, it's about the board fully investigating every option and giving the fans all the details. Pompey 4 Europe
Well i think it is inpossible nowadays to get a decent stadium the go-ahead, Arsenal did it, and it looks like Brighton are getting there stadium done, but there is just no luck for Pompey and/or Everton. Louis
Is a Fratton Park redevelopment out of the question?
Pompey 4 Europe
We have looked at it twice in the last 10 years or so, and the question of Planning Permission popped up, and it always stopped us because all the residents who live round Fratton Park always complain so Redevelopment never happens. but the stadium that was designed for Gunwharf was amazing, but The Navy sadi no, so it has now moved to Horsea Island, it is already having questions asked, and the stadium hasnt even been designed yet!
