jofanon
Taken from the Daily Post website... "The news is a signal that Moyes is now in a position to start adding to his squad, and he confirmed that Switzerland’s Euro 2008 right-back, Stephan Lichtsteiner, is a potential recruit." Note "he confirmed". Hmm. Don't know anything about this guy but its clear we need a new right back.
tiffa
Just saw this on bluekipper and i dnt no anything about him but they seem 2 think he was ment 2 be going to real madrid but it didnt happen and he wud only cost us 700K. At that price we might as well snap him up
Blue4Ever
I think moyes is wanting a rightback so Neville can replace carsley because we cannot afford the midfielders he wants.

EvilG
http://www.euro2008.uefa.com/tournament/pl...6942/index.html On the Euro 2008 site it says Stephan can play rb, cb or midfield? Perhaps Moyes see's this guy as a replacement for Cars aswell as competition for Hibbert who had a poor season but should be given a chance to prove himself reliable again after carrying an injury. c1982
Must be decent if Real were looking - worth a pop - young and not too dear in a position we could strengthen, I'd be happy.
gwladys
Read today that he is trying to buy out the remainder of his contract at Lille to secure a move to the blues. If this is true then i can't see any reason why we wouldn't land him. I'd take anyone who can play at right back to challenge Hibbert. Viennatoffee
Hm... a good player which was voted to the 3rd best player of Ligue 1 last year and sounds like a good choice to buy, I think we should take him! He can also play several positions, another plus for him!
