Daniel
just posting to say on spurs the cockneys said they were gonna wipe arse with everyone this season definetly going to break the top 4 and now look there fucking eighteenth and good be nineteenth by tomorrow looking forward to listening to 606 tonight we won 2-1 against a decent west brom side with six major players out if we sign alberto riera we can stick him on the left which gives artera and pienar more of a chance to play centre with cahill back our midfield options would be: arteta, riera, pienar, cahill, osman, rodwell, gosling and jp kissock feeling a lot better than this time last week =)

Romey 1878
Once they get a striker in they'll be right up there.
jamiemaher85
Exactley. If they complete the signing of someone like Arshavin then they will be set. Completly stupid to write them off now Edited August 24, 2008 by jamiemaher85
It'sDefinitelyLloydy
Modric looks amazing like, they need someone like Defoe who they stupidly got rid of
MikeO
Think they're more than a striker off living up to the hype. If we think we're depressed imagine how they feel with probably most of their business done and they've lost to Sunderland and 'Boro. Difficult to pick up after losing the first two games, specially against supposedly average opposition...although Everton famously managed it in 84/85 . We could have had six points (were it not for a schoolboy Lescott error), should have had four (were it not for an offside goal being allowed) and we're operating with no squad at all. I'd rather be in our shoes than theirs. Not writing them off but looking difficult for them again.

As well as a striker they are in real need of a decent holding midfielder. At the moment they are mis-using Modric, who they are playing much to deeply. If they get a decent defensive mid then they can move forwards more. Lets just hope they don't poach any of our targets!
