MikeO Posted November 14, 2008 Report Share Posted November 14, 2008 My connection's gone really strange....last night it just suddenly died....I'm still connecting but it's taking (literally) ten minutes to get a page up. It took me about twenty minutes to download a 60kb virus software update today <_< . It's not a virus because it's the same on both PC's and laptop....the ISP told me to do a speed check but it's going too slowly to measure. I have to wait until Monday lunch-time for them to do a phone-out and talk me through whatever needs to be done and it's already cost me four 50p a minute calls with no result . Long shot but anyone have any ideas? May have to go for some PAYG dial-up on the laptop for the week-end . This thread will be on the board about half an hour after I hut the "post" button .
