Paul Ince

Recommended Posts

The 31-year-old has been training with the club for two weeks despite not playing competitive football since his exit from Bolton two years ago. Ince is unlikely to be given funds to bring in new players in January and the former England international believes Jansen would be a valuable addition to his squad. Jansen was a popular figure among the Blackburn fans during his time at Ewood and Ince hopes his enthusiasm will spur on his new team-mates.

First off, he hasn't played competative football in two years which in itself should make him start back at the lower leagues, coming back into the Premiership after two years of not playing will be hard. When he left for Bolton, his last club to date, he only managed to get 6 games under his belt. To add to this, when he was on loan to Coventry (from Blackburn) he played 9 games, scoring 2 goals. It's not so good for a striker to have scored 2 goals in five years, I somehow think that he won't be a Robinhio at Blackburn upon his return.

It says he hasn't been given much funds. This is the reason why. They're near the bottom and all he can think of is signing a player from nowhere based on what he was able to do in the past, he was a figure among the Blackburn fans but I'm unsure whether he will be again. I think Paul Ince could be out of a job before July.
