Hell no, Van der Vart has looked shit. Throw in an extra 10 mil and we'll talk. Don't know how Van der Vaart would cope in the English league. It's a big step up from La Liga. We should try and push for some cash if we are going to trade. I woulden't mind having him here but getting rid of Arteta always seems like a stupid thing to do. How bad would we regret it if Arteta left and VDV turned out to be a total flop..until Real give us a good offer/OTT then Arteta should remain at Goodison. He would be brilliant over here i think I agree .. I don't think it can be regarded as "It's a big step up from La Liga" if you go from Real Madrid to the PL.
