Blue 250
Congratulations Tim Cahill!.......50 goals for Everton. Great achievment from midfield, even if he has had the advantage of being in an advanced position. Even though this hasn't been his best season in an Everton shirt (so far), Cahill, has been a great player for us and a pain in the arse to opponents.I think he as much as anybody has raised Evertons profile around the world. Cahill seems to excell in the just behind the lone striker position, but doesn't really seem to fit into a more normal midfield position. Perhaps we've seen the best of Tim!.....hope not. Romey 1878
The only surprise is that it took him so long to go from 49 to 50. Well done Tim.

Alex6691
He's fantastic, not doin as well this season as the past few, but he still puts the effort in week in week out. Congrats Tim!

I think we have, not the player he was before the injury/injuries. As far as I'm aware if he breaks it again he's proper finished. I think it shows though, he doesn't go into tackles like he used to and he doesn't seem to have the same leap either. He's never been a particularly brilliant footballer and he was never good enough for a role in a 4-4-2...but he's been fantastic in that role behind the strikers as you say and it's disappointing to see him struggle this season but he's not getting any younger either. Well done to the lad anyway and I'm glad he finally made it (was beginning to think he might not get there)
