Why do pro players need coaching anyway?

If they're not ready, pay them apprentice wages until they are.

Same as golf - what you feel ain't necessarily real, Tiger woods has coaching, enough said. You need skilled observers who can highlight where the errors are being made, and focus on the corrections.

In that case Av why have any coaches, or for that matter a manager?! Just tell the players to turn up at the stadium an hour before kick off and let them sort themselves out!!

Come on mate!

On a more serious note, to the Idiots at the weekend who had a tantrum and boycotted the game to suit their own ends, hope you were pleased with yourselves. With, or without you, the club still couldn't manage a last day victory, so your omission (in the end) really didn't make much difference. Hope you enjoyed your little protest anyway

I didn't even know that had been done so they've not really made a point.

It's not going to make much difference now.

Just for the record, Sundays defeat was Moyes 99th away loss as Everton manager since arriving from Preston North End in 2002

No league wins at Stamford Bridge in 22 games (since October 1994) under David Moyes, Walter Smith, Kendall. Joe Royle was the last manager to achieve this at the aforementioned date.

David Moyes lost 161 games in total as team manager - the very same as Harry Catterick believe it or not.

Seven league defeats in total for the season, the fewest losses in a season since 1969/70 - and the league championship.

It has been the best home season for points and games won since 1989/90. (also a sixth place finish)
