We can confirm that there is no fixture scheduled for this week but confusion has been sparked after a local website announced a game involving Everton. A local amateur team will merely be attending an Everton training session during the week with a view to helping out with some game situations. By no means is it categorised as a match and there will be no spectator access. From Ventura County Fusion's site... The Fusion will travel to the Home Depot Center in Carson Tuesday afternoon to take on Everton FC, the 129-year-old English power from Liverpool that has won nine English titles and five FA Cups. Everton finished fifth in the Premiership last season. “It’s a significant milestone in the short history of this club,” said Fusion general manager Ranbir Shergill. “This is the fifth best team in England, the country that invented the game.” I like them a lot!
