We'll have to agree to disagree on this one Bails. Both players would be hard to replace but anyone else like a mirallas would cost well over £12m.

Joel is dodgy as hell as a shot stopper and kicker. He had a fantastic game in the final last season, so he does have it in him (somewhere). He has not put any confidence in me so far. I hope he sort himself out today!

It's not his greediness that makes him inconsistent. Sometimes he just doesn't get into the game. There are lots of players like this. Also his game is about explosive burst of speed and energy. You can not expect him to attack at full pelt for a full 90minutes. You'd have to be superhuman.

I don't understand why people want to change him into a team player. As you say it wouldn't be Kevin Mirallas. He is ace!

He could get a much better job than those clubs. He's a proven stabiliser who can compete for European places. Anybody outside the top 7 Would welcome him IMO. Maybe even Spurs. United is one of the toughest jobs he could have taken. He's obviously not built for that level but he's not a shire manager and is probably the best from a half decent bunch of O'neill, Bruce,Clarke etc.

He is terribly slow. That's my only issue with Alcaraz. (Apart from the injurys). Neither Stones or Alcaraz should in ahead of Jagielka or Distin.
