  1. At the moment I think he should. Barkley has been terrible and Naismith has given a lot in the last few games he deserves to play IMO
  2. Nobody is even slightly suggesting he should be the future of the club or that he is anything but a decent squad player who can do a decent job when called upon.
  3. Bold: that just not true. Tinted glasses off. This post has Grand Old Team forum all over it.
  4. I've always backed him. So much so that I was blown to oblivion on other forums. Laughed at when I suggested he'd come good through the middle. Seem him numerous times for Rangers and he was their best player.
  5. No haven't been overly impressed with Jagielka of late but I think it's seriously early doors for Stones to be taking his place. Against a more ready attacking opposition I think Stones inexperience will be highlighted
  6. Get off your high horse. Yes 7th and quarter finals would be shite IMO. 7th?? You truly believe that would be a good season. Would it bollocks. That's standard no money spent era's under Moyes. The net spend bollocks argument too... Martinez has spent about £25m this season on loans and permanents. Hardly not spent a penny, whether that's net or not.
  7. Pienaar is still sound. He runs like he's carrying injuries these days though
  8. Pretty much how I feel about him.
  9. He's played up front about 8 times and has 5 goals.
  10. He's a top class finisher and seems to find space in behind with ease. He's finally been let loose in his best position and is definately good enough to be in and around the squad as a different striking option.
  11. If we finish 7th and get knocked out the cup I'm putting it down as a shite season. I think we'll finish 5th though.
  12. Wouldn't say it was about linking up. More about goal threat
  13. My Bold:: Absolute nailed it for me mate. I think it's a media driven myth we are playing consistently better football under Martinez. It's been flat a lot of times this season.
  14. Got the goal yesterday with Naismith in behind Romelu. Does it have potential? Yes Ross is nailed in the position but he's been really bad of late. Personally I'd like to see Naismith play before Osman on current form.
  15. Paul Van Dyk? Grammy award winner and DJ supremo?
  16. That's the negative effect clubs like City have on the rest of the league in terms of wages. I'm also pretty certain Barry could earn more in the MLS than he would here. That's not to say he wants to do that yet. The wages really are a concern.
  17. RE Pienaar, I've seen him have a lot worse games. To be honest I didn't really notice him do much wrong yesterday. His lack of pace is a worry and sometimes I see him as just an extension of Baines down that wing instead of an individual. But he is still a key player for me.
  18. We definitely need to sign him IMO. The only problem I've had from day one is his willingness to drop his wage demands. I'm not 100% convinced he'd more than half his current wage.
  19. Thought Pienaar did well.
  20. He played a great through ball to Naisy aswell. Particularly the first half an hour he was very very good.
  21. Credit to West Ham, they were far from the worst side I've seen at Goodison if I'm honest. Highly highly doubt they'll be going down
  22. Me but I made note of watching him like a hawk today and he was very good.
  23. Deulofeu is still not 100% IMO. Will have done him a world of good playing today though. Surprised Mirallas was not used and if we'd failed to have won the game I'd probably be moaning about. Very good 3 points that though.
  24. McCarthy closely followed by Naismith
