I was looking at the league table and thought to myself that by the end of the month, we may possibly overtake Arsenal. Not expecting it as such, but there is a glimmer that we may just do it.

Anyone could say this so Iam sure a lot of you will not believe me. I don't mind. I was sure this would be the draw before it happened. Personally I don't like it. I smell a rat. Whoever wins this will be drawn against Arsenal and those winners will get ManUre. I believe (and it is purely my own opinion) that the draw is designed to increase TV revenue by providing a match (or series of matches) that will get as many people to watch as possible on the TV.

Firstly, my apologies for not posting recently about anything. For some reason I was unable to log in at all. Had to sit in here as a 'guest' for a while. Not sure why. Anyway I have been reading as much in here as I can, and I would like to ask a question. Is there any indication as yet on which way the decision is likely to go? There has been a lot said, but I am still not fully sure on the arguments. I have my opinion but I am very biased on this, I would just like to know how the 'decision makers' may be taking all this argumentative debate.

This is my first attempt at a logo, Is it any good do you think? The cubed bit was not too easy to sort out.

Bloody hell thats a bit fierce. The way things are getting stirred up, the sooner this is over and done with the better for everyone, not just Everton.

I have been looking through some videos of him, he seems to be quite quick, nothing outstanding. He seems to have the knack of being in the right place at the right time too but you can make anyone look like that in a video. £12 million is what I have seen quoted. I live on my own these days so I never bother with christmas decorations or stuff like that. No point it only makes me miserable. I suspect I will visit my Dad for Christmas, But sleeping on his couch cripples me. I think I am becoming a miserable old git cos I hate Christmas these days.

Nugent is ok in the championship, and so is James Beattie. Would you have him back? I do not think you can directly compare performance in the championship with performance in the premiership. At least not in the majority of cases.

Personally I think Fellaini is a class player, but he has not yet settled in. We still need some midfield bite at the moment. He may just come good this week, however I am not holding my breath just now.

Game can go one of two ways I feel. They will give us a serious pasting, or we will scrape a low scoring draw. I simply can not see us winning I am afraid. Be nice though wouldn't it. Dream scenario. Rooney gets sent off, Ronaldo gets sent off, Ossie scores a hat trick. Oh well may as well get the dream over with while I have the chance. Realistically, Rooney Ronaldo and Berbatov all score. Who is ref by the way?

I like the guy and his heart is in the right place. Pity he is so short of cash.

Ignoring for a moment that this is about Owen, I have a slant on transfers that you may disagree with. We need a bigger squad. I know we REALLY need players in certain positions, but we do need a bigger squad all round. Owen is not as good as he was and there are many who would not have had him when he was at his best due to his past history. However if we could sign someone like him, would it smooth the way for other players to join us? Some positive points about him (the negative ones have already been mentioned): 1, he is English, and with the proposed cap on players from other nations playing for a club from EUFA and FIFA being bandied about, it could be a useful signing. 2, although he is past his best, he can still get a few goals, which frankly we do need. OK I stand here ready to be shot down in flames, but they are positives of a sort.

I don't expect anything from the next two games. But I am willing to be pleasantly surprised. It has happened before and it will happen again. It would be nice if this was the time.

Call me a cheap skate, but I tend to buy the replica shirts when they are on special offer, usually just after a new design has been anounced. It means I am a little out of touch fashion wise, but I can still show my loyalty with a club shirt, and a lot of folks have older shirts too. Last time I bought a current shirt at face value it was one for my niece, she wanted a name on the back and it was Kanchelskis. You had to pay by the letter. We sold him the week after, and she then she confided in me she secretly supported ManUre cos she fancied one of their players. Talk about feeling peed off!!! So now I have the self imposed rule of cheap buy and NO names. I don't feel that bad about it, and I don't feel totally ripped off.

Good grief! Can you imagine admitting you pulled a beaver on over your head? "I went to the game with a beaver on my chest" doesn't sound too clever either.

I have to say I just don't know what is going on anymore. I was not impressed by a single player today.

If Moyes decides to leave or BK pulls the plug on him I can't think of anyone else I want to replace him to be honest. At least, nobody that we could get that is!
