  1. Cheers guys! If anyone in that area would like to catch a game from the second week of September let me know! I am fully ready to face manc and shite supporters but would be nice to be in the company of another blue.
  2. Away to Leeds! Good draw for sure. Thoughts?
  3. I saw that guy in the MLS last time I went to go game. A quick search on google tells me he plays for Montreal Impact. I suppose Kevin Campbell gets a mention for his loan stint? He did play for us for oh I don't know 5 and a half seasons!? Manny Fernandes for me too
  4. Im travelling down to Southeast Asia next week for an extended period of time. Figured it would be unlikely but would ask anyway if there are any Evertonians from the likes of Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Laos, Cambodia, and Vietnam on this forum or have an idea of where to watch the games? Probably won't be watching every game but whenever I have a chance to I'd like to.
  5. Yeah didn't mean every American ever obviously. There will be idiots despite their nationality and origin and there will be idiots running sports news sites and such. Bleacher report... *shudder*
  6. I hate bleacher report: http://bleacherrepor...the-fulham-star No substance... As if Felli can be stopped! Silly fucking Americans don't know what the hell they're talking about
  7. I really want QPR to be relegated. Probably won't happen but would love to see them drop. I'd like to think Everton is top 4 quality and though it may be a bit of a long shot, they could pull it off. I supposed 6-8th finish might be more realistic. The first two games have not a lot of meaning to the finish as Arsenal have a better record at the moment in the 1 point they secured than the same point in the season last year. RVP did carry them but they did end up in third. In the contrast could be the same for a lot of teams that started brightly (our team included but I hope not) in the first two games to end the season in a disappointing league standing
  8. This. I guess it boils down to Barca and if they feel like they want to go after David Luiz and how much money would be involved for Johnny. A bit suspicious that Heits haven't started a game yet
  9. Hahaha can't believe this is actually a discussion.
  10. What the shit just happened? Can I join in on this orgy of shitting and jerking party if we are indeed getting Holtby? Sounds mighty fun
  11. I'm okay with that. It's kind of like putting it like this: Would you rather have a player or would you rather have a slightly older player doing exactly the same thing; nothing more nothing less but you get £12-odd million. I know what my answer would be
  12. He looks older than Cpt. Phil. Maybe it's Phil's frosted tips. Maybe it's Darron's bald spot. I just can't put a finger on it...
  13. Hmm then signing Russell doesn't quite give us that cover for Jelly does it? I feel like we have a lot of players who can play behind the striker at the moment (left, right, and centrally). Osman, Pienaar, Naismith, Anichebe, Gueye, Barkley, Mirallas and Fellaini (albeit only centrally) all can play in that position. I mean, a lot of those players will play all over throughout the course of the season and that's the kind of versatility we need but even if we "pegged" each player to a single position, it looks like we've got quite decent depth although it is a rather inexperienced and young group as back up. Wonder if we need yet another player, at least positionally? I feel like with the group mentioned above, we would do better to maybe get an out-and-out striker to add to the ranks like Steve said. Just hope that isn't Doyle. Especially with the kind of financial comfort Wolves are in at the moment...
  14. ....and go! If there ever was a doubt in his mind then he doesn't deserve to wear the royal blue anyway

I think it would depend on what kind of team we start... If we go with a weaker side to rest the regular starters then as long as we win in regulation 1-0 would be fine (League cups are always ET and SO not replay right?) but if we have majority of the regulars in the side especially in regards to the attacking options, I'd expect at least a 3-goal difference. But then again, at the end of the day, a win is a win.
  16. Yeah I guess for an out-and-out striker but if Jelly went down there's no way Vic or Tolos come in straight up to replace Jelly - Moyes would plug the likes of Mirallas, Naismith and maybe even Osman before they get a look so I don't see why we would need both of Tolos and Vic. If one of them leave permanently then I'd like to see Vic go but if it's a loan, Tolos would do well to get some game time
  17. I get so scared whenever there's an article linking us to Doyle. I really hope it isn't true. Waste of money for them Yep, can't imagine them selling looking at what they hauled in the last couple of transfers
  18. Didn't we sell him in the off season? Maybe Junior you're referring to? I am not sure how much Moyes will rely on Barkley to be honest - all the talk of loan he might want him to get first team action in a lower division before he gets his chance? We'll have to wait and see I guess...
  19. And all United did was lose. Next, please
