It’s strange that my reaction to this is no longer “Everton are above Vardy”, but “Why would Vardy want to leave Leicester to play under Sam fucking Allardyce?!?”
We’ve entered the fucking Twilight Zone.
Not lately. But, he’s a very good player on the ball. He’s strong. His dribbling is wild. And he’s got a got shot on him.
I’m assuming he heads to Italy though.
You’re probably right. It’s still a shit tactic. Jags shouldn’t be getting sucked all the way up to the halfway line. Gylfi shouldn’t have the responsibility to run up and down the wing covering Aurier (because he’s physically incapable). And, Martina shouldn’t be so deep.
Brilliant goal. This is why we need players like Lookman in there for the counter
Also, that’s Phil fucking Jagielka for you. Of course, he’s the one to rush his ass up there and make the assist.
Horribly soft penalty. But, on balance, we deserve to be down. This is another dismal demonstration, though the players have individually done pretty well.
I don’t know if it’s Niasse’s positioning (sitting in the channel) or Martina/Bolassie forcing their own play into the same space. But, something needs to be done there at half.
So much better from both the players and Allardyce today. It’s amazing what having two wingers and a bit of width can do. And, it’s great to see our players simply making the runs they should be making.
I’m in the same boat, myself. Though, with regards to Bill, I’m fairly certain he can always be expected to make a shout for Besic deserving more playing time. It’s a lot like Haf and automobile analogies.
Looks like Sigurdsson will move inside and we will have two wingers!
(Should’ve Been Schneiderlin to go off. But, we know Sam would hate to lose a tall player)
