I would love to pick up Ince. I can really see him growing into a great player. I don't know how I feel about getting rid of Vic though. For some reason, I think this could be the year he finally puts it all together.

Perhaps this is why he's brought the hair back. He's more directionally sound with that forgiving bit of cushion.

I liked Drenthe. But, him in London is a bad idea. He's going to end up crashing a car full of prostitutes into the Thames. Best of luck to him though.

For me, Johnny always seems a bit of a liability on set pieces. He tends to track poorly and lose aerials. Sure, he's made some excellent late tackles and clearances, but I can't help feeling that he puts himself/the team in those dangerous positions sometimes. But this is just my opinion, man. He is, by far, the best cb we have on the ball though.

He looked excellent in preseason this year. To be honest, it was the first I had actually seen of him, barring a few highlights from reserve matches on the OS. Defensively he seemed strong and didn't shy away from any tackles. Had a nice strike against Morecambe, too.

Kenwright crying after Fellaini's performance last night would hopefully mean that he isn't willing to sell him any time soon. My fiancee was trying to sleep next to me on the couch during yesterday's game. That, well, didn't really work out for her.

I'm guessing we'll see a slightly different looking team come saturday, especially with the shortened week. My best (and most wishful) guess is something like: Howard Hibbert Heitinga Jags Baines Gibson Osman Fellaini Pienaar Naismith Jelavic Perhaps Gueye will get a start, too
