He just needs a run of games and some confidence. If we can nurse him back, this signing could be immense. He's only 30. He had a bad run at a few unstable clubs over the last few years and, as a result, just lost his game a bit. I have a feeling we can resurrect this guy's career. Great defensive midfielder with great distribution and an amazing shot. Let's just get him healthy and confident. Stuttgart supporter friend of mine was excited for us/still believes in him, so I reckon we should have a little faith.

Am I the only one that thinks the uproar over the Fellaini elbow was a little much? If he wanted to do damage, he would have really thrown it out. Looked like he was just trying to keep him back.

Went with the Jellyfish. His overall effect on the type of game was on full display yesterday. It's not just that he scores and always tends to put his chances on target, but that he opens up so many avenues with his movement and plays smart incisive passes forward. He looked like he wanted to show the boss why he should be the number one striker, and didn't look as if he took his starting position as a right. I was also tempted to go with Mirallas, as he completely ravaged Saints yesterday. I mean, he absolutely raped them. I love his work rate. He might even work too hard. Of course I can't knock him for that. Peanuts, for me, was a little disappointing. There were a few times where he could have made a really dangerous pass that could have led to a goal (one Baines run in their box, in particular, comes to mind), but he decided to play the Neville-esque pass. Still a good enough game from him though.

So now it looks like I need to pick up Fifa and give that a shot.

And, also, I blame Mr. Kane for not getting the joke. But, that's kind of his awkward role around here it seems. So, I don't get the problem.

Maybe Osman is rested and Naismith moves into the middle with Gueye playing on the right. A further (and more insane) maybe is that Junior plays in DM and Felli plays in the middle with Osman rested. Either way, I don't see Fizzer or Peanuts getting the start tomorrow. Osman should rest his old bones too. All conjecture, of course.

It should have been two reds, but he gave you a break early with that challenge on Anichebe.
