I'm going to defend Mirallas a bit here and say as far as we know, he has been a professional and played his game when called upon the second half of the season. If RM really wanted to put his foot down, he could have just said he is not being sold and that's that. Of course he is under contract for at least one more year and has that to fulfill, but something I hate is promises that are not kept. While he does not have a divine right to be a starter week in and week out, he is one of our two best wingers, and we struggled for width all season long. Of course this is just taken from his perspective.

I'm in the same camp of people that want Europa simply because it guarantees us a schedule of games that we can treat as a preseason. At worst, as some have said, we play the youngsters and give them some game time. After this past horrendous preseason, this can't hurt too much.

What a shite shite first half... words cannot express how furious I am at the team atm. Dreadful defending off crosses and gift passes in the midfield. I would say to put some youngsters in that might give a rats ass about this game but we don't even have any on the bench! I feel bad for the fans that travelled to watch this joke of a performance.

So many piss poor giveaways near the midfield, our passing leaves a lot to be desired. Are they on vacation like Crystal Palace are?
