  1. i normally agree with people who dont like BK, as i am no fan of the guy. i was very pissed off, as was most of the room, when BK said he was bored of the question about how much he wants for the club. but you come across very deluded in that post, specifically the points ive left above. If you were Valencia, and you had a player playing how Banega did the other night, you would not loan him out. Krancjar played some of his best football under Redknapp, cant blame him for going back to him. We have brought in the Lescott money, spent £5m+ on Distin, £9m+ on Billy and £6m+ on Heitinga. so approx £15m, we will have given Wolves around £3m, so call that £18m, so we may have a few million left over from that. Cant bring the Sky revenue into the transfer dealings as we need that to stay afloat. you will see next year, everton did not make a profit, as we havent for a good while now. also, its a bit harsh saying he doesnt put his own money in, he doesnt have it to put in. and if you do choose to vote with your pocket, without the backing of the masses you wont change a thing, and that you do not have.
  2. as much as out wide isnt his best, i dont think he can really play in centre midfield with out someone behind him. the last time we seen him play well in the middle lee carsley was backing him up. i think he plays best behind the forward, just not as well as cahill or fellaini. he will have to shape up asap, or our the arrival of billy may see the end of him as a starter.
  3. its not illegal to speak to agents though.
  4. sorry but i find that nonsense, a keeper can do 90 mins. you dont see tired keepers. chelsea dont rest cech, liverpool dont rest reina. forget mentally exhausting, they should be able to cope! howard hasnt needed a rest in his everton career before, he doesnt need to start now. i think a year out on loan would do him well, ruddy has been gaining a lot of experience going on loan anywhere, turner must need football too. maybe it would get moyes confidence back in him.
  5. but you are doing the same, are you not? hes laughing off people calling him a legend, your laughing off people saying he isnt. great way of putting it, i feel/felt very much the same.
  6. you can come on the pitch for two minutes and score two goals, that could justify being motm. no need to change it.
  7. i think the onus is now on ossie to improve his game, fast. but if we have players of ossies quality on the bench is better than we are used to. bentley could give us added strength and options.
  8. did that happen to witsel or did he do it to someone else?
  9. anderson on loan would be fantastic business
  10. still young for a keeper, look at buffon, still at the top of his game. keepers shouldnt need a rest. and id rather not see nash play, give turner a go first.
  11. Captain, you will not change anybodies mind about Ferguson. he will go down as one of the great discussions, just like kirkby. some will defend it to the hilt, others just wont see the positives. as ive said many times, he was my idol, until i knew any better. i'm full of respect for the man, he does great charity work, but he has his flaws. even joe royle, his biggest fan, said he had all the tools to be one of the greats, he just didnt have the determination or the luck. he never saw his potential, shame.
  12. you know i agree with you on the kenwright subject, but we cant release funds that we dont have. everton are a club with very little money due to the size of our debts. people say well united and liverpool have much bigger debts, but they bring in much much more money. i honestly worry that in twp or three years time we will be in serious trouble. i dont think we need a billionaire, we need someone who can buy out kenwrights shares and pay off the debt. then we would at least be on a level field when we look at our income we have a good amount to spend. im not arsed if we cant go and blow £100m on mercenaries, just to give moyes that little bit extra.
  13. when we have legends like dixie, bally and labone resting in their graves, lines like that make me sick. dunc was my idol as a kid, but now im older and more realistic, he was simply the best of a bad bunch.
  14. 1) Why did Moyes bash Citeh for not offering more money, when he said Lescott was not for sale? he wasnt for sale, but every player has their price. 2) Where is the money generally at the club, who does what with it? Including Sky dosh, previous sales, money we owe for transfers etc. since bill took over, and especially while wyness was at the club, the debts have been increased therefore higher payments. not a great situation to be in, but until BK actaully WANTS to SELL the club we'll be stuck with it. 3) Investment so we will be a position of strength every summer? who is going to invest in BK? if you had billions would you invest your money in a football club run by someone you dont know? the only way out of the lack of funding is to sell. but have you ever heard BK say he wants to sell the club? no. he says he is constantly searching for investment. he does not say the club is for sale. he says if there was a billionaire out there id get him, but there isnt one. hmm, no billionaires out there looking for football clubs? haha i'll believe that when small clubs like QPR and Pompy cant find buyers.
  15. if we got him it would certainly bring competition to the team, that is what we need. and the ability to change things around. we dont have another player like him in the team, different options can always help any manager. rambling now, but i want him.
  16. much more positive now, hope we get heitinger too. a lot of papers linking us with bentley if a deal can come off. we might actually end up with a good squad. i too, like jamie, am a little scared of the confidence im feeling. one think though, im looking forward to seeing bily!
  17. im sure if we didnt have jo he'd be number 11. hoping for 7, then he'll have space for the rest of his name on his shirt.
  18. would be a great signing for wolves, not good enough for our first team though.
  19. just seen him outside john lenn....... sorry couldnt do it.
  20. stuart barlow, iain durrant, thomas myrer, danni cadamateri
  21. i'm tempted to say vic but im sure i'll get a telling off. I'll go with richard wright, terrible terrible player.
  22. distin is asolid defender, he may be 31 but he is still in great shape. We can easily get two to three good seasons out of him and have a solid player who can cover. And talk of moyes' policy on over 30s, anyone remember nevilles contract extension? How long?
  23. possibly on the bench at the weekend to give the lads a boost?
  24. isnt that the truth! not happy at the moment. if we get 45mins out of him thats a good start, 60mins would be brilliant.
