  1. i always thought Leon was a red???
  2. Jesus! some touchy people here!!! right, let me give a few retail tips. question 1, i want to buy something, do i... A ) google it? B ) try ebay? C ) ask a god damn forum? come on lads, there are two possible answers, and one stupidly time wasting answer as you may not get decent replies for days, where the other two give instant results! and an extra bonus, no one on google or ebay take the piss!
  3. fair enough mate, i probably just took it wrong.
  4. we do not finish above villa because of Bill, if is because of Moyes! if moyes had Learners money we'd finish higher than a few more teams i think i see what your saying Zed, but everton have massive debts to service. even if we were just debt free it would increase our spending power a lot. a takeover just paying off the overdrafts and mortgages would leave us running financially safe and having lots more cash for players and/or stadium improvements. im sure he knows he would improve the squad, he probably thinks thats the difference in quality between us and the top 4
  5. Im not going to question the Learner tried to buy us thing, i at least believe the reports he enquired, and am a little confused why things never went further. But i do want to defend the guy. he has done a great job at Villa, he doesnt hog the press when things go well, he doesnt fire the manager when things go bad, he doesnt have villa in a dangerous financial position, and when the manager asks for funds for players - he gets it. im not saying Bill does the bad things there (apart from the embarrassing interview) but Learner is pretty much the perfect owner from what i can see. he picked his manager and backs his judgement. i pray if we get a take over, its some one of the like of Randy Learner.
  6. id rather play Vic, and if anybody knows my opinion on Vic, they'll know how much i think of Jo.
  7. lets just see what happens. look at how john terry turned his career around. im not saying support him if he is guilty, but lets just see what happens.
  8. hibbo seems like a different player since he has all this competition. he was great again today. little disappointed with rodwell today, but its only really one game ive not been made up with. i gave it to fallaini, his close control looked really good, a massive improvement in the last few weeks. he looked a very very good midfielder today.
  9. i was really impressed by him today, he looked good at the back, going forward down the middle was very good. his long range passing was brilliant. and in the second half he gave the ball away near the half way line and chased the guy half the length of the pitch into the corner to get the ball back and hacked the lad to the floor (left his own position vacant, but showed great determination)
  10. Milky, if TT does not work for you, try another forum. We are a long running forum, we work well, and we have lots fo members who love this place. We dont need 400 members a day posting to keep us all happy. may i recommend BlueKipper? dont take that as an insult, i've seen kipper, ive seen your style and heard what you like. sounds like a match made in wembley to me.
  11. cahill and saha are actually them, the rest are just pretty generic.
  12. a very good result from a very weak team we had out. distin was business as usual, really like him more each week. we had nothing in midfield or upfront. but Hibbo was the man, usually gets a slating but he really turned up last night.
  13. probably only torres on better form right now. long live king louis
  14. big nev will always be the man, martyn has been the best since. we must remember though, martyn had at least five years more experience in the prem when he signed than howard did. he can still grow with experience. westy is a legend, and a great fella too. very very entertaining guy.
  15. louis is just brilliant at the moment, probably only torres on better form. howard was great too, but we had a fair few chances that could have put us in the clear only for some dogged pompy defending. another win, so i wont complain.
  16. captain, stop being stupid! I called you stupid, hit the report button! No one forgot we had to sell to buy, we know the situation! What the hell can we do about it? Sitting here slagging off the whole club wont change crap! Unless we are sold, which kenwright wont do, it wont change! Now stop bringing everything and everyone down! Voicing your negativity on TT wont change crap! Maybe write into the papers or the club with your opinions, and let us know the response.
  17. im not oneto praise the board at all, but this summer, with our finances, they've done good. Elstone told us when he got the job he would keep in touch with the fans, and he has. Been a fan of his from day one, and i hope he's still around when bill finally sells up. Hes a good guy, and hes trying very very hard. If anybody wants to question him just remember wyness and birch.
  18. he never dd it to sell items with peoples club on, just to own the rights and sell them to everton. Could have been a nice little earner for him. Cant believe everton never got it secured themself, considering the money spent on it over the last few years.
  19. billy look very tidy and 3 assists were a bonus. Distin is just a rock, great him and yobo bagged one each, yobo looks good with him. Cahill and fallaini looked real quality in the middle. Baines pissed me off with his refusal to pass to billy (maybe pissed off he lost set pieces to him) apart from a shocking miss kick that could have cost us a goal, gave it to rodwell for simple running the game.
  20. did anybody notice baines didnt pass him the ball last night? Very good on the ball, genuinely excited by him now, excellent delivery too.
  21. cant blame them really. it is a positive thing the GB team training there.
  22. i think his goal scoring ability makes people believe he cant play. i dont think there are many sides that he wouldnt get into as a centre midfielder.
  23. if, and i very big IF we somehow managed to get him, it wouldnt be a case of fitting him in, he would be first name on the team sheet. and rightly so, he is better than every single player we have.
