  1. i think you'll be pretty close there mate, mayeb not kissock, moyes hasnt given him a go yet so id be suprised if he plays.
  2. so i guess jags is in at right back now then. i would have expected gosling to make a start here but hes injured now. guess baxtors gunna have to play
  3. Rupert_Fuffeinsmuir - you talk a lot of sense. all very good reasoning. couldnt agree more. jimmy - fighting a financial bush fire. couldnt have put that better myself. a lot of fans seem oblivious to the state of the clubs finances. we have pushed debts to the limits, at the same time we have sold our assets off. its only so long before the financial shit hits the fan. its a slippery slope and i firmly believe we are about to get on for the ride.
  4. this scum bag is still trying to tell the world he is innocent. what a prick. burn him
  5. i wont bet against everton DM. if im totally honest, i dont think we will go down, but i just see with every passing day us getting closer and closer to that slippery slope. add the on team problems to the off field trouble, i can see nothing but the bad times returning.
  6. that is pretty much what we have done for the last 4 or 5 years. moyes took careful steps, bringing players in on loan to see how they can fit in the team, getting one or two better quality players each year to catch up with the top of the table. we never had much of a squad to support the first 11, but last year we probably had the biggest squad of talent we have had in maybe 20 years. but we lost one forward in january, another this summer. we lost the key figure to our success in the last two years this summer in lee carsley (if anybody wants to question this, the one season he didnt play we were aweful, the other 3 we got 4th, 5th and 6th) we had two midfielders on loan last year and we've lost them this summer too. if we can bring in a forward and three midfielders we can get back to last seasons level, hopefully better quality players to help us push on. moutinho was one name that really got the fans excited. if we could have brought him in back in june the whole summer would have been brightened up from the start.
  7. DM, i assure you i am sensible. we have no central midfielders, one striker (another who cant stay fit and another who isnt anythin special, both teenagers) only sixteen senior players (matchday team is now 18) where is possibility of relegation. it was only a few years back we had a bad start and it can be a downward spiral, we got stuck down there and we had a bigger squad then. there is nothing stopping that happening again.
  8. hibbert is out for about another three months so neville has to play right back. if jags is in the midfield that means lescott and valente both need to play, is valente capable of playing 38 games? we have no one who can win the ball in midfield, and keep it. if you cant keep the ball, you cant win football matches. lets look at the possibility of yak or arteta getting injured, cahill hasnt been fit for a while so lets pray he can stay on the pitch. if we lost two of them players we would be in as much trouble going forward as we are in the middle, which is causing trouble at the back. two midfielders can make a massive difference on both midfield and defence. hate nothing more than some stating FACT as then it must be true. we have just as much chance of going down as boro, bolton, wigan, right now we have SIXTEEN SENIOR PLAYERS FACT!!! TEN OF THEM ARE FIT FACT!!! oh and question me being a blue? you have got to be kidding me! because i fear for the club i love more than anything else on this shambles of a planet i cant be a blue??? get real, take your rose tinted glasses off, yes we could sign players, but the window has been open a long time. why are these two weeks any different. im sure we will sign players, but i can only hope we sign players that are good enough.
  9. ok, desert island discs it is. libertines - time for heroes (true tale of the demise of this great nation, single handedly blamed on the baseball cap, agreed with by the late great john peel) killers - mr brightside oasis - dont go away radiohead - karma police rage against the machine - killing in the name of bob marley - no woman, no cry stevie wonder - superstition elton john - tiny dancer
  10. panic stations, seriously. if any of the optimists still possibly think we'll be ok even if we dont have any new players, please come forward now with your reasoning, because i for one need convincing. the only tihing im looking forward to is the £200 getting knocked off season tickets in the cocacola championship. anyone recon we can fill 50,000 seats in the lower leagues? people will think im over reacting, but can anybody see this side (with no orthodox central midfielders what so ever) getting 40 points?
  11. i fear you are all underestimating west brom.
  12. stick around red, dont turn into a twit like some of the others that come on here. join in the banter, dont try to cause fights and we'll all have a nice time. like above, xav knows how to play the kopite well on here. welcome, and enjoy our little blue home
  13. dont they say most peados are under the age of 24 now days? when this prick tried to join another school and was rumbled by the back ground check, why the fuck did the police not get involved? seriously, what the fuck is going on there! and glitter, let him come back. he may make a few quid out of the papers, but id imagine any papers to pay him would be disgraced. and he wont be able to do much in public, anywhere he goes id like to think people would take the law into their own hands and kick the shit out of this guy on a daily basis. ideally, build a prison somewhere, with a one way door, just going in, no way to get out, no windows. if your convicted your sent through that door, no staff inside, just a room full of other cons, no food, starving to death. they'll just kill each other, minimal cost to the tax payer, maximum results.
  14. saw the aeroplanes a few months back at zanzi, very good band, very good live. or go old school, the rolling stones
  15. im sure he'll be a very good player in time, but im really gunna struggle to see him being as good as rooney, even with my bluest tinted googles on
  16. i'll be here with my strongest possible pesimism
  17. he'll spend his time living it up in woodys bar with dunc i would hope. all the best stubbsy
  18. the idea wasnt just to get it called in, the idea was to get it reviewed. there is enough legislation problems in the planning application that it should be turned down anyway, or at least open doors for LCC to get involved. i think a lot of the YES gang presume KEIOC are short sighted and shallow with their view point. maybe if their views were looked at, and their points acknowledged, some of the YES gang may see that KEIOC have a lot of good reason and a lot of evidence to the lies that have been believed.
  19. im firmly in the no camp, an i think its good news. the sooner its sorted out one way or another the better
  20. i think they would let him go for £3m, they owe us money as they wont have paid for AJ upfront. they also refused to extend his contract this year too
  21. surely thats easily sorted in the western world? seems a bit out of order that they decided to stop paying him while hes injured
  22. i enjoyed that. seeing what a good team we were back then was nice. and moores backing us to the hilt, and the big old gwladys
  23. if we do sign grav it will be a loud and clear signal that we are in decline, taking big steps backwards and are indeed desperate
  24. i see a club with 16 recognised players as trouble. and have you not seen the bad press we've had? the media have been all over us, ceo leaving (good thing imo) and the clubs obvious lack of finances and the kirkby deal fall through in the press (again good thing imo) it all adds up. it may have a lot of media spin on it, but if you throw enough shit, some of it will stick. hes defo portugese, or at least in portugal. we can search his ip address and his posts are coming from lisbon
  25. fingers are still crossed, he would attract other top players too. but i cant see him fancying us after all the trouble at the club lately, and the well documented tiny squad
