  1. i think you have a point fussy, year on year we make losses, increase debt, sell assets. hopefully the shareholders will ask the right questions
  2. im not for or against a shared stadium, but i was impressed with the design i saw, i was lucky enough to see a bit more detail that the cartoon looking pics that went around. but still not sure if id like it or not. but if your gunna make a statement like this then back it up, give us an opinion why? why is our scenario different to milan?
  3. said before and will again, very good player and lots of potential. love him here
  4. if you watch any of ajs interviews he says like a lot and i think he says you know a bit too
  5. i think too much has been put in LCC. they have so oftern told us they wanted to talk to everton, even open debate, but KW has kept us hidden away behind his exclusivity agreement
  6. my uncle is one of the prawn sandwich brigade in the 100 club. good friends with AJs dad. but this came from one of the staff who looks after the corporate for everton. also heard about erlstone getting the ceo job when rumours were saying he had left last week. dont hear too much club news from him, but what i do get is normally spot on.
  7. all the best AJ. onwards and upwards hopefully
  8. i just heard myself that an offer is going in tonight
  9. i like it. think they probably put it out too early aswell. probably did it just to show things are still moving behind closed doors
  10. that is a damn good view of it, and i for one agree
  11. i actually agree with you here DM edit; hopefully kitbag will be sorted out next year with the nike kits
  12. dont want you to leave, dont want anybody to leave. more the merrier.
  13. wasnt it just the sporting president who said he'll be staying? not joao himself? dont knock moyes for getting on with preseason, he has to stay as close to the team as possible, they hired the agent to sort out this signing with the board. hopefully we'll get him in, and probably manny on loan again id think. do you have a name? been on here for ages but i dont think i know it
  14. DM - considering you have such little opinion of this place, why do you keep coming back everyday?
  15. on one of the uefa games on itv he was interviewed in the little videos they play in the build up. his only reply was "im a traditionalist" plus he was happy to pose for pictures with KEIOC flags, one member on here has it as his sig. could have been really bad PR if pushed on this. before dangermouse jumps on me, im not saying he was in support of KEIOC but if he was for the move it would have been a bad step getting on them photos. DangerMouse are you saying they are not real fans because they oppose the move to kirkby? because they expect the truth from the club? and you say the club dont need to be honest because they are a business? well, they need to be honest to the shareholders do they not? and just so you know, they were not honest to the shareholders, just as they were not honest to everyone else. but that doesnt matter, real fans like you will accept that, because thats what real fans do. i understand you opinion of we need to move ASAP, sort of, but its that common opinion that has been exploited into accepting second best. mikels left tezzer - damn good post, well thought out it seems, and put forward very well
  16. moyes has often hinted away from a move anyway
  17. if the club is still trying to sort out any problems from peter johnson then that is serious mismanagement, should have been long sorted by now.
  18. im guessing the people upset by this never really looked at the inplications of kirkby anyway. if anybody still thought the stadium was free, or that we would have a top quality stadium, or that congestion wouldnt be a nightmare, then rest assured, deal of the century was far from it. and rest assured, as Goodison may not be modern, its not falling down around the pitch! maybe now kenwright will start looking the plan b and plan c he mentioned at the last agm. you want to be remembered bill, now keiths reign (and exclusivity agreement) are pretty much out of the way, you have your chance to step up to the plate and show your doubters what your capable of! what made you think kirkby would bring us all the riches? does increased debt not play a factor in the clubs finances? nostalgia is not a factor i even consider, and by my understanding KEIOC are the same. Goodison For Ever-ton are the nostalgic ones
  19. haha seems he is a TT Cult Legend already! id love him here, him and Joao would be great with three of the midgets infront of them with the yak
  20. for little money id take him, i agree with whoever said DM might be after him for midfield rather than upfront. as long as his wages are dropped a hell of a lot, and he doesnt get a decent shirt number i dont mind
  21. not yet bill, i wil do though. just been very busy with a new job lately so not had chance
  22. times are hard, BK is now head scout!!! seriously thou, i hope he pulls this one off
  23. i have previously said i believe a city centre stadium will struggle with the infastructure also, but would be helped by numerous train stations available in the city centre. to be totally honest, research suggests with new stadiums you get a few years where the stadium will be full week in week out as people will want to go see the new thing. and i think that will happen, three years or so we will have full house. but as with every other new stadium, it drops down again, unless there is sustained success on the pitch, which we just cant predict anyway. but after that i think the drop could be a big one. we must remember, there is no scope for parking in kirkby, yes plenty of major roads going to kirkby, but kirkby will be a no park zone. we'll be talking an hour to walk to the ground, and in general, humans are lazy. taking the train will be a major ball ache as only 7000 can go per hour. i hope no body thinks i have a problem with kirkby as a place. ive family in kirkby, if we move i'll be parking on their drive way and walking. and i only live in st.helens so its closer to my house than walton, i drive past kirkby to get to GP. the problem i have with it are the lies about the financial implications, if it goes over 78m we are in trouble. i have a problem with the transport issues and i honestly think thay will kill the attendances. im sure people remember seeing city play in half empty eastlands stadium a couple of years back, very depressing. id love the club to pull it off and everything be just how KW mad out, because im a big fan of the design, its closer for me on a match day, but i cant see it myself. i dont think we'll be able to afford this anyway, and i dont think we can afford to develop GP. i honestly cant see anything happening with a stadium at all, not in the foreseeable future.
  24. not really, its always better playig the lower teams near the end of the season after the rest of the league have beaten their confidence out of them. they'll be confident at the moment, and they'll look at the current media hype around us doing nothing in the market and the instability at the club and we'll be right up against it. if now isnt the time to panic, someone needs to tell me when!
