  1. whats your thoughts on the "safe standing" ideas liam? would you want it in a new stadium? just out of interest while your a lower gwladys fan (im upper gwladys myself)
  2. Bluetrip, im not saying we have NO money, but we are by no means a rich club! we have to be carefull with our money, and im sure its a fair bit less than £40m, but it has to be spread around the whole club, not just transfer fees. we need to invest in the club as a whole, as well as players. and i for one will be happy if we wait a few weeks to save £1m.
  3. surely its worth waiting a few weeks to save £1m, we arent flush with cash are we! also save a few weeks wages. im happy to wait for jags. but nugent, if we want him we have to play ball, and we have to do it pretty fast before we lose out for good.
  4. NO! he's been saying come and get me for as long as anyone can remember! theres nothin more he can do now apart from giving moyes a call and asking him "do you want me?" but i think that breaks the rules
  5. i was all for the move, but now i want to see plans and financial situations before i make up my mind. if it will be cutting edge design then i'd maybe get swayed, but the club needs to not get fucked over in any deal. one thing is for sure, we need to keep the gwladys street together. make it known the stand to the left of the dug out will be for the noise!
  6. how about a volvo? early shape v40? not sure on prices, but my sis is selling an s40 for 1.5k, doubt an estate will be much more
  7. for one im defending umbro because they have supplied us for the majority of our existance, secondly, they have consistently made good quality kits, thirdly, we have a good working relationship with them due to reason one. and lets talk about chelsea, they bought out the contract with umbro for millions because they ended the contract early. but i guess if we have a more fashionable kit manufacturer we will sign better players and be more successful edit: it cost chelsea £24.5m, lets do the same shall we!
  8. so you want a diesel, 306 size, and an estate? how about a 306 HDi estate? reliable for a peugeot. good engine in the HDI
  9. can i ask your logic behind this? and what you mean by get more? umbros kits all look the same, nikes kits all look the same, adidas kits all look the same. they just change the colours, its all about cost cutting and profitability mate, but if you think its just umbro your very mistaken
  10. big loss to the premiership! one of the best players we've seen here in the past decade. the beginning of the end for the wenger era i think. cesc asnd arsen will soon follow him out the door and on the way to spain edit: cant wait to see barca play next season now!
  11. just one for the future mate. we wont sell hibbert
  12. im with you joe. Guardado is a quality player, even if we got him now and only played him for a few years and sold him, id be happy with that. but he could become a great, if we dont go in for him, a bigger club will
  13. 451 for me, but ideally only one of cars or neville. as great a job cars does, id be happy for neville to play there. but why do you call 451 negative? it gives cahill the freedom to attack, and him and AJ are our 2best attacking players. 451 suits us, but we use it as a 442 as far as i'm concerned.
  14. ive sen the Goodison for ever-ton plan for a 55k capacity at GP, looked impressive. the one for relocating the school came about from Peter Johnson, he wantee to move the school near the mega store, turn the ground 90 degrees. i know a lot of people dont like what he did at the club, but his ideas for the stadium were superb. the 90degree one was somethin special!
  15. yeah i think so. i heard hes a nice down to earth lad, so we can offer him £20k a week
  16. so naive! its all about attacking, and getting forwards, goals, assists, all the lovely stuff about the game! football is a team game, neville is a team player, an organisor and an important part of our team unit, both on the field and off it. we are known for our team spirit, and it is known neville is a big part of that. keeping the lads organised on the pitch, and keeping them all friendly off it. it takes more than the flaire of arteta and manny for us to win games. take a look at the majority of our team, and most of our likely transfer targets. hibbert, stubbs, yobo, lescott, neville, carsley, cahill, AJ, jags, nugent, baines, i could go on. players who will always give their most for the team. to quote Goal "the name on the front of the shirt is much more important than the name on the back"
  17. what a joke. the FA letting themselves, others and football in general down in a big way! share the wealth! save the small clubs!
  18. sounds ok, but i dont think id look for more of their stuff
  19. i guess your still one of the fans who doesnt notice when we miss neville
  20. AJ Cahill Yobo Lescott Howard where are they gunna play? surely they must have an arena if they are a pro team
  21. very interesting read. i never noticed the sunday kick off thing, guess it makes sense. if the vicar thinks we'll be gone by 2010 and GP will be a supermarket, maybe he knows this for sure. i've never thought about the knock on affect in the community, but it all sounds quite drastic
  22. but surely its only right that the best teams are on the front of the grid. they had the designers and engineers to build the best car, employed the better drivers, got the fastest lap times. surely they deserve to be on the font line
  23. moyes is on holiday this week, so i cant see any rumours having much in them right now
  24. please give details of how they look poorly made. ive been more than happy with the manufactured quality of all my umbro shirts. or are you just talking this shit because nike and adidas are more fashionable
  25. all sounds a bit American to me Licker. im happy with it as it is, i think the new qualifying system works
