  1. I think that Barkley will flourish under Martinez and will show his true quality I also think quite a few other young lads may get introduced at the right times and will make a promising impression. That is certainky a positive attribute Roberto Martinez has he knows how to hand youth arguably well and I will look forward to hopefully seeing more of Shane Duffy, John lundstram, Vellios and other promising young players.

  2. If he went we could get 2-3 cm for the money generated by his sale we could get the likes of marco van ginkel, leroy fer and many other young highly rated centre midfielders I think a good defensive midfielder would be Ignacio Camacho of Malaga not saying we will get any of them but they are highly rated and would improve our squad if fellaini departs

  3. I would rather any unknown defender who's young and reasonably good or promote from our youth team than hage any of these names being suggestioned. Alcaraz is too old and we already have an old and ageing team with ours being the second oldest behind Fulham. The age of our squad needs to be toned down by buying or bringing in younger players instead of buying old players.

  4. We had the second oldest team this season behind Fulham so we shouldn't be looking at Maloney we need to tone down the age of the squad whilst also bringing in quality. Buying 29 year olds is wasting your money you won't get as much use out of him and he has none or very little sell on value certainly not enough to make a handsome profit in any form

  5. Please tell me in what universe you are living on to think lukaku would be 'available' to buy this summer anyway? Also 10 million, 10 million?? Chelsea bought him for 17 million 2 years ago he's virtually a younger drogba what would possess mourinho to sell him at all let alone at a loss of 7 million when you could sell him for much more if they did wanted to sell him which is unlikely. The best we could hope for is to get lukaku on loan for the season.

  6. Jozy Altidore has been good this season has scored 23 goals in 33 games for AZ bare in mind it's the Dutch league but he's been impressive this season. Andreas Cornelius. Wissam Ben yedder is more of a number 10 or an attacking midfielder but he has scored 15 goals in ligue 1 this season and he is only 22. Jelle vossen

24 years old and scored 16 goals in the Belgium league another would be Ezekiel of standard liege 19 years old Nigerian forward with 14 goals this season. Wilfried bony 31 league goals this season. Alfred finnbogason 24 goals this season and 24 years old I think.

  7. You do make Pereira sound better, saying 2 seasons 1 defeat and 2 league titles. Then under Martinez 176 games 51 won 1 FA Cup and 1 relegation.

Did you mention how much the squads are worth together? Porto have a great set of players.

Wigan on the other hand, a lot of their players were injured this season as well and losing the likes of Moses, Rodellaga, N'Zogbia is going to be a blow for any side. Who did they get to replace them? Kone? They didn't have anyone who was good on the wings except di santo but even he had a lowsy touch.

Everton have Pienaar, Mirallas, Coleman, Osman who are better than any of the Wigan wingers. I don't class McManaman as a good winger, he minced Gibbs a couple of times in the City game but Gibbs isn't exactly the greatest LB in the world. Yakubu could have done the same to Gibbs and he turns slower than a tank.

I think Martinez stands out more than Pereira. He can get his players motivated. The only problem is that you don't see him angry enough. I can see Martinez going after the Arsenal game after getting relegated saying, we had a good run, we were unlucky.

Difference with Moyes is if we lost to Arsenal 4-1 he would have let the team know. Martinez is to nicey nice for me.

Gibbs plays for arsenal not city I think you mean Gael Clichy

  8. We have supposedly agreed a deal for John stones right back from Barnsley anyone know if we will get another midfielder desperately need one osman looks tired and has played poor of late and Neville in the midfield doesn't work for me. We need to get either a defensive midfielder or a striker

  9. Stupid really because we must have known about the knee injury scouts do their work and now we have obviously tried to get better terms on the deal and have failed now its off. I presume we will turn to ofoe who in my opinion won't be as good! Interesting to see what we pull out of the bag but have to say I'm generally disappointed was very excited by him coming to everton now that its off nothing but disappointment until we pull off more or even better deals. Is there any other young but already mature in their play big string defensive midfielders about lads?

  10. The knee problem will happen in the long term not right away!! They have found a problem with his knee could be weak ligaments or whatever the matter is that sometime in the future whether 6 months, 2 years or three years there's a risk he found injury his knee severely or have constant minor knee injuries preventing him from playing in the see able future it's not about his match fitness now. We're trying to see us getting the best investment by making sure he's not plagued by injuries and I'd he is that we don't part with all our money at once and that we get our rightful usage out of him before they receive every last penny for him.

  11. In some way all rumours on here have some truth he passed his medical although it showed signs that there maybe a recurring knee problem hence why everton wanted to renegotiate the instalments on payments with some of it to be payed when he makes a certain number of appearances nothing sinister about it sounds like twente are the sinister ones in this
