Rodwell's previous contract was signed last Feb when he was a seventeen year old with 10/15 first team appearances. Now he's an established first teamer who played 36 games last season, not to mention the fact that the big three were all apparently after him, so it's got to be the right and sensible thing to do to give him improved terms hasn't it? Someone suggested before that TC's negotiations went along the lines of... "Want a new contact Tim?" "Where do I sign?" That's simplistic obviously but I'm sure it didn't take much sorting.

But we supposedly tried to do the same with him a year ago .

I'd have thought it's a fair bet that at a rough estimate around 100% of Evertonians agree with that . Don't believe that for a minute.

Hmmm....selective quotes I think (lots of "..." in there) and he never says that a solution is unlikely as the headline suggests. I don't think that's any basis for added negativity (though I'm already pretty negative ).

Jeez no I wouldn't actually wear one, I've never had an England shirt of any colour . Just like the simplicity of the design and the similarity to the '66 winning model. It'd look better in blue .

I have no problem with ours being bland colourwise, but I do have a problem with it being (as you say) a tennis shirt. The red one I think is excellent though.
