  1. naysmith had a good game,as did everyone in defence. but aj, apart from the goals worked non-stop. he was upfront on his own, and the reds were obviously terrified of him. he'd have to be MOM for me. but the goalie also proved his worth. i hope we can get him signed asap.
  2. no real excuses can be made because the result was too obvious. but the fact remains, rafa has spent a fortune since he arrived at anfield but, judging by this seasons performances, he still has a lot of work to do. apart from a couple of periods they didnt look like they were capable of winning.
  3. what else is there to say? it was a pretty emphatic win, even tho they managed a couple of periods of attack. they never looked like they were going to win and we never looked like we were going to lose. how much more is rafa gonna have to spend to fix the leaks in the next transfer window? will another £30 mill be enough? maybe he can get a cash refund for one or two of the summer buys? right now we wouldnt sell him aj for £30 mill! ♪ he's on his way to sunny spain ♪ ♪ bye bye benitez ♪
  4. this will be a severe setback to liverpool fc. they were lucky to draw with the blades, they were lucky to beat west ham! they are not looking good in any department. after spending £30 mill in the summer maybe rafa should try to get a cash refund for one or two his new guys! right now they dont look like a side that will be challenging for anything this season.
  5. Theyve just been beaten 1-0 by portsmouth, and they are having a much shakier start to the season this time round. theyve lost one or two players and they look more like they'd be happy to survive this season. we've gotta fancy out chances here. 2-0
  6. our midfield and defence contained all their "big names". a great tactical display. rafa was out-thought and out manoevered. they rarely looked dangerous in front of goal, but when aj got anywhere near the ball their back four went into panic mode. hibbo back for the first time was as solid as ever. lescott and yobo didnt give an inch. we were so much better than them that it was starting to get embarrassing. after all theyve spent £30 mill on new players. how much does that make rafa's spending spree sincve he arrived? they had a couple of periods when they managed to put us under pressure but i never believed they had that extra that would get the ball in the net. and i dont think that they had that belief either. on the other hand Johnson looked like he could have managed their back four on his own. i wouldnt go so far as to say it was a doddle. but it was easy! THE BEST TEAM WON!
  7. 3 - 0 moysey does it again. we stuffed spurs with ten men and weve stuffed liverpool. they didnt look like getting in the game.
  8. Everton showed how its done. and liverpool looked like they needed to be shown. they were rubbish. and EXPENSIVE rubbish. £30,000,000 they spent this summer and most of it was wasted. rafa's days are numbered. they fired houllier for finishing 3rd in the league. what position at the end of the season will send rafa back to sunny spain, i wonder? anything outside european qualification and its back home for him.
  9. dont worry. you'll only miss our first two goals. and you can watch them on the replays at half time.
  10. we can win this one and i expect us too. after all the cash theyve spent this summer it would be great to win. and weve got the talent to do it. i fancy osman to get a goal because they'll be occuppied with aj bt and cahill. also moysey will have something up his sleeve for this game. it will put us top of the league for a few hours at least. 2-1 to us. osman and arteta.

hibbert should play if he's fit. the adrenalin of a home derby will get him moving ok. they will be so busy watching aj, i wouldnt mind betting that osman will get a goal. or the goal. but i fancy us to win by one goal. 1-0, or a 2-1. its the biggest match of the day. a lot of people out here will be tuning in, its a 7.45 start. hope the weather is good.
  12. we'll also be top of the league if we win! until the afternoon kickoffs!!!
  13. right now they have a game in hand over us. if we beat them it will be a major setback for them. i fancy our chances. they havent looked good and were lucky to get a draw against sheffield and lucky to beat west ham. theyve bought in some good players. dirk kuyt looks very good. its nice to have money!
  14. glen roeder. i dont think his transfers make much sense, and i think he'll be made to pay if they dont get the results. hard luck really, owens been out practically since the day he was bought.
  15. yes, i agree. theyve havent got much value for money. weve done a lot better. if they dont perform glen roeder will soon be gone.
  16. gary had a good game against spurs. he seems to be back to full fitness after last season which wasnst good. lets see how he performs.
  17. its certainly screwed up our start to the season. weve been going great, especially against spurs. i just hope we havent gone off the boil with this break!

  19. who would you leave out? lampard, gerrard? ossie is not good enough.
  20. hooligans are NOT football fans. they claim to support a team but thats only an excuse to start a fight. they are usually ignorant, racist, and nasty. ive got no time for them and even less time for those who make excuses for them.
  21. "A number of clubs - including Arsenal, Chelsea, Seville, Roma and Portsmouth - turned down the chance to take Javier Mascherano and Carlos Tevez as they were unwilling to agree to the terms of the deal. Tevez and Mascherano must play in every game and can be sold at any point for a profit that will go to the company that owns the players - Media Sports Investment. (The Independent)" the club has bought these players but doesnt have any ownership rights. that means west ham can be held to ransom in the future. they can be sold by their "owners" without west ham having any say in it!
  22. that still makes them better than andorra! "Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger says that international football is becoming a turn-off for fans because of the one-sided matches and "congestion of international matches". (The Sun) too true! England goalkeeper Paul Robinson did not touch the ball for a total of 42 minutes 51 seconds during Saturday's stroll against Andorra. His spell of inactivity stretched from a goal-kick shortly before half-time to a picking up a pass from Ashley Cole just before full-time. (The Times) " Do you call that a football match?
