  1. West Ham rested most of their top players for all or most of the game. Tough one this one. Hopefully the feeling of injustice from last week gives us an edge and determination. We need to score first I think.
  2. 12 points seems very harsh. But it does point to some sort of points deduction. is there an appeals process, which means we drag it out beyond this year??
  3. Echo the sentiments of others here. We are all one club in that respect. I am a bit shocked tbh, considering his post surgery recovery was meant to be going well. Sometimes the body just doesn't want to fight anymore. Hope the tributes are just about the positives of his life. We are remembering a life not debating the pluses and minuses.
  4. 100% this. Imagine how easy it would have been to rush him back both this season and last - we (as fans) were absolutely desperate. Dare I say a classic example of the manager feeling that he knows whats right, sticking to his guns and willing to be judged on the results. Won't always work but in this case it did.
  5. And let's not forget his set pieces are atrocious.
  6. Is it not saying we should get rid of the manager cos we are massively under performing
  7. Doucs off and Patterson on and long ball bonanza for 45 minutes.
  8. Minimum we expect is full on intensity and I think for a change most of our line up get the occasion.
  9. Haf is just covering his ass in case garner has a mare in the middle
  10. So your defence is that garner can't influence a game when teams set up to defend?? If we had scored against Luton in the first 10 mins, which we should've...then we win that game regardless of where Garner played (Mid, RW, RB). I'm not knocking Garner. He was great and one of the positives of the season. I just don't get the dyche bashing considering how much better our play has been...results will come. Trust the process as the leading indicators are there.
  11. those 3 also played in center mid in an abysmal showing 2nd half against Luton. So they aren't a shoe in to perform in any circumstances. If you want to criticise the manager for anything between the Villa and Luton game it should be Harrison not playing. Mind you, it's easy to see why dyche wouldn't have picked him. In hindsight, you can see he has been a catalyst.
  12. McNeill cleared one of the line....with his RIGHT no less
  13. Happy days! Lots of good performances in there. Good to Go into the break with some positivity ahead of the derby and with a fit squad.
  14. You can see Beto desperately wants a goal. I think he knows he should e contributed more in the starts he's had.
  15. I'd love to see Onana get a goal. Think his all round play has deserved one. He's tracked back and stuck a foot in, he's broken forward and he's had somE good chances on goal.
  16. I think Harrison is the difference (and Bournemouth are v poor). not saying others haven't played well, the bloody have...but we've played Onana/Garner/Doucs in this shape before and it's been ineffective. we needed all the pieces (Harrison, Fit DCL etc)
  17. Good grief...we are churning out some great chances here.
  18. This is our "Brighton game" from last year...we are just on it.
  19. Ah that must be why we couldn't score earlier in the season...they weren't coached in shooting/finishing.
  20. I swear we don't practice taking free kicks or defending corners. Only explanation.
  21. Even Ashley Young managed to put a cross on the money - what world are we living in
  22. Onana and Patterson were born 2 months apart. So are they both kids or not kids??
  23. The villa game was false. Not for us - a win is a win. But you can't/shouldn't judge villa on that. They rested the most influential players int heir team. Not saying we should expect them to batter Brighton but they're not shite.
