too 3, not top
He's hot on jags too, says he's been top.
-
Snods saying rom has been best man on the pitch.
-
Mirallas injured, possible dead leg. Kone on for him.
-
Sounds like we are attacking the hell out of them. SNods is going wild on the radio feed.
-
Goal!! Romelu to naisy, COYB
-
Get Kone on the pitch, May as well have big dunc up there.
Goal was simply a case of player blocking off the marker and Howard being beaten near post.
Every corner goal is Howard getting beat near post. He is shit.
-
FFS another corner goal. Howard out.
-
How are we lining up?
-
Their big man forward didn't start either, kravets.
From the radio feed sounds like Barkley is up for it tonight.

Wolfsburg 3-1 inter Milan

Brugge 2-1 besiktas

We need to watch the tackles. This ref is really trigger happy with his cards.
They need to watch the tackles, they are bigger and more physical than us. We should be fine. Barry excluded.

Can't watch cause I'm at work. Please update the thread and help a brother out. I'll probably listen to the radio feed.

Chelsea - cheating scumbags, dirtbag bus parking manager, plastic fans
Man U - crap bandwagon fans. Manager is a goof, pretentious club.
Liverpool - the Olympic diving team, paid of the refs for Steve g pens, coach ain't bad, fans aren't from Liverpool, they all live in London.
Don't mind arsenal or man city or Spurs.
-
Made up psg won. Those cheating scum from Chelsea surrounded the ref on the zlatan tackle just like they did in our match. That needs to be banned.
Costa the thug deserved a red, zlatan was not a red, was a yellow.
-
Zlatan red card, shaktar red card. Bayern will be through. But I was really rooting for psg, Chelsea playing to draw, what a joke mou is, parking the bus fully, there's been one shot the whole first half.
I hope this thugs lose.

I was thinking exactly the same about Di Matteo.
Tactically he beat real. The 352 agaisnt their 433, he was pushing all out attack and quick fast counter attacks. Real was so lethargic because of the 2-0 first leg win they just felt like coasting.
Bravo to him for giving it a go and beating them. Might not have won on aggregate but he's got a fan in me now. Class.

Testicular fortitude last year, the lack there of this year

Schalke gave Real Madrid a real fright there.
So a team that's twelve points behind Wolfsburg in the league can go to the Bernabeu, score four and win.
We put six past Wolfsburg over two legs while they just squeeze a late consolation.
Real must be really grateful we're not in the Champions League, we'd destroy them .
Really great match. Ronaldo was the only real player who looked up for it. Di Matteo had them doing well, and they're close to Champs league qualifying too. Seems he's a decent manager after all.

Great stuff as always, that your blog dunc?
Scary thing is their style of play. Long balls to big men who score tap ins or headers. Pretty much our Achilles heel. Will be an interesting match. The way we win is speed since they are all 6 feet and taller, just wear them down and beat them with the English style of fighting used agaisnt the Spanish armada.

Lennon is cup tied so can't play.

Promotion/relegation isn't going to work in MLS right now. Teams need to grow more popular and develop more hardcore fanbases, otherwise you'll see folks jumping ship; there are just too many fair-weather fans as it stands. Sad, but true.
I actually like the parity of MLS because it makes each game more unpredictable; every team has a chance.
I get the romanticism that the role of underdog brings, but I prefer fairness and equal playing fields. Good form is more apparent in MLS. The salary cap will continuously increase through the years and eventually each team will be able to bring in top talent from over the globe. We need to build a sustainable foundation first.
Yes and well said. I agree promotion and relegation wouldn't work, I agree with you. I still want it because it's just and fair, but I agree it will never happen here.
That's why I love euro so much. Not just EPL, but really been getting into bundesliga, la liga, Ligue 1 and Scottish premier league.
One day MLS will be on par and then they will face those questions we spoke about earlier, the big issues. But when guys barely making an impact in the lowly spl (bocanegra, edu) are big stars in the MLS (edu not so much boca) there's work to be done.
