Can't see Robles starting. The game will be used to help restore Howard's confidence. Distin is too much of a risk, so it will be Jagielka. Most likely, Lukaku will start and not Kone. Barry will be in there, too. Is McGeady injured?

Why is Distin a risk? Why Lukaku? We pay kone wages, surely not just for u-21 matches? He's a good striker, 12 for Wigan, what the f is wrong with him? Barry will be in for arsenal.

 

Steve we are up 4-1 and it's at home, why would he play starters when we have a huge away game at arsenal?

After watching him play natural number 10's on the wing all season he has now started playing wingers as number 10's as well. Play the fucking players in their proper positions!

 

Why do we need 2 defensive midfielders when we are at home to the bottom of the table club? I could understand it when the full backs were bombing on but they barely cross the half way line anymore. The system isn't working but Bobby refuses to change it. Why didn't he bring Mirallas on earlier and play with a bit of width?

 

The only plan B in Martinez's locker is to bring Besic off no matter how well he is playing

Also read his post game interview notes. He's claimed that Lukaku was tired and not fresh...so with Kone on the bench, why didn't he bring him on?

Should have left Barkley on, he was moving the ball well and playing well. Should have took off McCarthy and had one defensive mid in Gibson. We need to be less conservative. Liked atsu and Lennon. Would love to see more of each.

You said after Thursday display you're let down by this. Well the team is not playing to win, Leicester is playing for a draw meaning they are sitting back. You can see this I hope. Young boys attack so did Wolfsburg, Lille, they want to win games. Leicester doesn't, they came to goodison to park the bus and pray for a draw. Completely different game and tactics, you can't have the same Thursday display agaisnt 11 men behind the ball. He just played 2 days ago, he can rest. When we had moyes everyone complained we played the same 11 for every league cup and Europe match. No creativity and rotation. We finally have a deep squad and everyone wants to play the same 11 every match. Drives me mad.

 

Lukaku could come on as a sub. But he plays well in space and this won't be that. Kone is better at holding up and link up play. Play to our strengths no matter what. Otherwise why buy all the extra players?
